Another uninformed pedestrian looking at a 40 time. He may not outrun you in the 40 yard straight dash . . . but from day one he is going to seperate himself from most of the backs in the NFL by how he "finds" the hole and how hard he hits "that" hole. When you watch how guys will try to tackle him and his legs keep moving and he is going to make you smile. And 40 time or not, good luck catching and tackling him if he breaks away. He can also catch the ball and hold up in pass protection.
Deangelo Williams? A first and a 3rd for a guy who can't stay healthy . . . yea that would be worth it.
Of course it would help Mark if he has a great OLine in front of him, the same can be said for every back in the league, but even if he doesn't have one . . . Ingram is going to do a better job than any of these other backs with the hand he is given.
I'm not saying the kid is a no brainer pick . . .it all depends on how the board falls, but for him to not even be in consideration is just plain dumb. We need a RB, whether early or late, and Ingram is the top prospect. You would be nuts to take him off your board.
