Nothing happens it's just a a good streak by the US (mostly because they found out exactly how to play against Mexico's Lavolpe but hugo plays with no strategy whatsoever so things are so chaotic that we will confuse you and things will start leveling again)
that sounds a tad more accurate.
Now it's us?
Then the US will officially own us

By the way, the US Women will kick your ***** tomorrow at the Pan Americans too :D
On Saturday, the U-18's? I really don't know much about our team, but losing to Bolivia probably means our U-18's aren't very good.
On another note, the US U-17's will have a real good chance at the U-17 WC. The US has probably the best draw and will likely make it to the QF.
FFiB, the analysis I gave still stands.
The question was never between sending A squads to both tournaments. The quesiton was whether we should send the A squad to EITHER the Gold Cup OR the Copa America. And we did the right thing because we would NOT have won the Copa America had we sent our A squad there and NOT to the Gold Cup.
Also, the analysis is by no means over. The US goes to the Confed Cup too where the games are highly weighted.
Either way, the analysis I gave is still correct. IF the US had to choose, we chose the right thing. Of course, the best would have been send the A squad to both tournaments, but that's beside the point.

3 - 2 :D
US Soccer is banking on 'what if'. We will talk after last years Confed Cup when the US faces the regional champions such as Brazil, the European Champion etc.
Our argument was, that the US will lose a lot of points by sending less than their top squad to Copa America. I also argued that Copa America is more worth than the US Gold Cup, even not winning Copa America and winning the Gold Cup. That has been proven wrong.
The Confed Cup used to be an annoyance to teams. Its value has increased. So the US will most likely face full squads of Italy (World Champion) Brazil (Copa America), next years European Champion, the African Champion which could be Ghana again - just to name a few. The chance of failure and lose important points are huge. It is a gamble which will not pay off. The US can not choose, it is in no position to choose. Major soccer powers can choose. And if they choose, they should pick the right tournaments like Copa America.
Come on CKB, watching women's soccer is like watching amateur curling on a frozen pond. :D
