Beyond that, IMO, R1 and R2 picks should never be "developmental" players like AJ and Iggy (who may never be ready for prime time). It's important your premium picks contribute right out of the box -- and of course "impact players" are the Kobe beef! That said, we've burned too much prime choice on stuff we could have gotten at a discount. I agree with your core assertion that TE (historically) is a low value premium pick. Better to make your wagers for more immediate contribution.If TE is a need, and it is in Miami, you fill it in FA - not the draft. It's well and good to draft a TE to develop, but you don't go into a draft with needs at TE unless you think your team is a year or more away from competing.
