We will a get a third round pick when he leaves for next year. Put Carroo in his spot or draft someone late, pocket the $15 million/year and move on! No brainer.

First of all, that's not set in stone. Second of all, getting that third round pick would require the Dolphins to not shop for anyone in free agency unless they're a late cut, right?

They can place a 2nd or 3rd round tender. Transition means nothing basically.
