Willis McGahee - The Perfect *******

Sorry, but cry me a river. Willis thinks he is the best back in the NFL, so what? Maybe he is. Probably not. He's a 25 year old man who is one of the best 10 in the world at what he does? I think that allows for a few egotistical comments. I would be pretty proud of myself after coming back from that injury too..

As for the Buffalo comments, have you been to Buffalo? From what I hear he is dead on. Who cares what he has for loyalty for the city? The city didnt draft him, it doesn't root for him. Thats the team and the fans. The city itself isn't feeling sorry for itself. If its a boring place its a boring place. He has every right to feel bored in a cold desolate hole in the middle of nowhere. There are people who have nothing yes but im sure any average joe is sitting in traffic and saying "I wish I didnt have such a crappy life waiting in traffic" and there are people out there with no food or water. I don't see what the difference is regardless of how much money he makes.

As for calling out a guy for being a douche, refer to the original post where you WISH ILL ON SOMEONE. What kind of person wishes an injury of that sort to anyone, much less someone who is only guilty of wanting to go to clubs and throw his money around. It's not like he's beating his wife or anything ala Randy McMichael, who as a Dolphin player I'm sure you rooted for heartily when you got the chance. I think you guys here criticism Willis need to get off your pulpit and deal with it.

Hey, don't speak ill of me speaking ill of Willis McDouchebag. I had a hard day at work and came home to Applebee's carryout and my xBox

I've yet to see him perform throughout a season as a top 10 back, but you obviously like him so that's your opinion. As for his personality, you can still be a solid douchebag without beating your wife (I'm not sure when that became the barometer). Although Willis will probably never marry because when you're God's gift to humanity, it's damned near impossible to find a worthy partner.

Come to think of it, I don't ever remember hearing Brett Favre demanding a trade in Green Bay because it's a small community or Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed or Bruce Smith bitching their way out of their contracts because they had it so rough.

So I will allow Willis to continue to be a douchebag. May the gods of vinegar and water reign over him and his inflated head.

Buffalo has a pretty big bar scene, so I'm not sure what he's talking about when he's saying they just have a TGI Friday's and Applebees.

I love that he's going to Baltimore, which is an absolute hellhole.

Buffalo is FAR from boring. Most the people who say that have never been to Buffalo, or given it a chance.

Perfect example. From what I hear Miami is overrun by Cubans, no one speaks English, it gets hit by 10,000 hurricanes and then raided by 300 spartans for good measure. Does that make it true?

I find it funny that most of the Fin Fans around Buffalo think the guy is a douche for his comments, but the ones who have never been to Buffalo like to agree with Willis.

These comments don't really surprise me at all. He's ****y as hell just like most of the guys that come out of the U. They have all hit a standard of success and prestige because they have played at a high level at the U therefore they have egos. It's his opinion and because he said whatever dosen't mean he's right.

Favre comes from a small town so it didn't affect him going to Green Bay. Willis is used to Miami. And I'm sure going to 4 straight super bowls on a Hall of Fame laden time made it more than acceptable for those you mentioned from Buffalo. It's a different time, different upbringing, different teams, different situations.

Willis doesn't necessarily think he is God's gift to women. But he is 25 and had nothing to do. Sure he has all the money and maybe he should have more humility but whats the point of having a multimillion dollar job and then having to go home alone and play video games alone all day. Thats a pretty sad life regardless of how much money you make and frustrating for someone in the position to enjoy his gift but he cant because of social conditions. He's a young guy and he was simply bored, I don't see why he is a douche for being honest about the fact he wants a good time. There is a barometer. There are players doing illegal things, taking steroids, going to jail who deserve these threads.

Look at it this way, you said he was getting run out of town because of his mouth, when he never complained about the city or the team while he was there. He complimented Toronto once, but he never became a vocal problem. He was traded because he was going to bolt for free agency because he was so unhappy there. But I don't recall him asking for a trade or holding out for more money when he should have been on the field. If he's ****y he is ****y. Whatever, I'm sure as hell glad he's out of Buffalo because he is a better back than his numbers suggest.

Doesn't he have three kids with three different women there? Sounds like he likes them at least a little bit...

How many little Willis's would there be if he actually thought they were attractive? :rolleyes2

Amen. Willis sucks! Who's with me!
I agree whole heartedly with this article, having just returned from a trip back home this past weekend and being reminded of what a great place Buffalo actually is. The people, the food, the atmosphere, and yes, the women of Buffalo all rock. Willis can kiss my ***!

This is what my co-worker sent me this morning, man is he pissed at Willis. We work in Maryland and he wants to go to a Ravens game just to boo willis!!!

Buffalo is not a big city with Celebrities running around, we all know that. Its like a college town, so I cant get mad at Willis for having those feelings. Buffalo did basically kick him out of town. A bar held a burn your McGahee jersey a few months ago. He wasnt liked in buffalo. Buffalo's fans can be harsh if a player even acts like they dont work hard or give full effort. We also gave him hell for his 3 kids with 3 different mothers.

IMO, the worst part of the article was where he basically says he plays for fame. He said he was used to getting fame when they won at the U, but said NO MATTER HOW THEY DID in Buffalo, he didnt get any fame.

I dont care if you live in Miami, Chicago, or DC, that is a crap comment and I would think fans of any big city would hate to hear something like that.

Did willis even mention anything about the playoffs being a difference between buffalo and Baltimore?

We get those pesky Spartans up here in New York. I swear I don't know how they get into the house but they are worse than ants.

I thought Willis comments about Buffalo and what he did were amusing as hell. Don't like the guy, but I laughed.

I was a Willis fan, but he's brought his own troubles down on himself because he's an immature, spoiled brat who doesn't take responsibility for his own actions. Maybe if Willis had ventured out beyond suburban Orchard Park, he might have found some night life in the Buffalo area to keep him happy. Good grief, Buffalo's Chippewa Street is famous enough for its bar scene that the country group, Big and Rich, mentioned it in one of their recent hit songs! There is also plenty of night life on the Elmwood Strip, not to mention night clubs in Amherst, a surfeit of casinos on both sides of the border in Niagara Falls (less than 50 miles from the Ralph, btw), and the infamous "Canadian ballet" across the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie.

Another young, single guy on the Bills from a "big city" (this time the LA area) who didn't find Orchard Park's bucolic lifestyle to his taste, JP Losman, rented an apartment in downtown Buffalo. Last year, he bought a swanky townhouse in one of the trendy city neighborhoods. He spends most of the year in Buffalo, including the off season.

I bet when the Ravens come to town and stay in one of the downtown hotels, it will be the first time Willis has ever set foot inside the Buffalo city limits!!!
