Keeper Combat: Chambers vs. Price

Chris Chambers isn't listed as a probowler but that doesnt mean he doesnt play at a probowl level. Give chambers the supporting cast ogun has and he would have been in the probowl 2 years ago. The only thing holding him back is a qb he can consistently get him the ball and an oline who can protect the qb. Chambers cant put up probowl numbers if he isnt getting the ball, look at his stats, he has better numbers than the top wr's in the AFC except for 1 BIG thing, catches. He has more touchdowns than any1 in the division and his avg. is an impressive 15 ypc.

Chambers almost cracks 1000 yards with Jay throwing the ball, a sieve of an offensive line forcing quicker passes and no solid receiving options opposite him to get rid of the double teams especially when McMicheal was left in to block. Chambers is also 25 years old and just starting to his his prime.

Chambers cannot easily be replaced.

Everyone always talks about the effect JT had on Ogun, i think that our CBs give a bunch of coverage sacks to our DEs every year. That explains our constant sack output with rotating Right DEs. It also explains why any DE we put in there will have above average stats. Finally it explains why Ogun is more expendable than Chambers.
