10 Reasons Why The Miami Dolphins Won’t Stink As Much As Sports Books Think

I see "Tannehill is worth at least X wins more than Cutler!" thrown around here a lot... but people are forgetting just how lucky last year's team was to get 6 wins. I'm also very worried about the losses of Suh and Landry. We're counting on our draft picks to come in and light it up in their rookie year for us to have a shot at being a decent team... and that's never a good sign.

i will have to see dolphins play first 5 game. then I can go from their.... need start fast because they have some good team on schedule this yr.

The following isn't true, the person is just making this up with no evidence to support it...

"1. Tannehill is worth at least two or three wins over the 2017 version of Cutler. He just is."

I am not a Cutler fan however Cutler has led teams to 10-win seasons twice. The most Tannehill has been able to muster is 8 wins and has habitually collapsed as a leader at the end of the season when Miami has been in position to make the playoffs. This roster is not that talented and Tannehill has yet to show the ability to elevate the players around him.

For me it will be interesting to watch because of the youth on this team. For me it was bad management by Jeff Ireland that put us in a very deep hole and we are just climbing out. We always think we are the off season champs. So until we see it on the field. My excitement is relegated to enjoying watching the young team develop. If we have a bad year. Next year is the year to draft a QB with the first pick and finish off with another good draft. Definitely heading in the right direction.

Brian Hartline and Davone Bess would like a word.

It’s a stretch to say Tannehill made those guys “better” lol.

Both those guys were relatively productive with Chad friggin Henne.

Brian Hartline’s yards per reception were actually higher with Chad Henne. He just got way more targets playing in the Tannehill era , because there was no Brandon Marshall type alpha to gobble targets.

Hartline had higher catch % numbers with Tannehill than he did with Henne, and his two best seasons as a pro came with Tannehill at QB.

The enigma that is Parker. Who is he? Where (Mentally) is he? What will he do this year? Nobody knows.
Parker, please find beast mode and push play.
You stole my thunder.....Parker is the biggest unknown, can you believe I'm saying that even with this revamp Oline? After years of defending him, I've come to the conclusion we might need to look at the draft next year for his replacement.
Note: I would love to eat crow on this player.

Can we stop the run and can we pass the ball deep will be the theme to beat the phins in 2018. No Suh, no Laundry easy to see this game plan coming at us. So the Titans should be a good game to see what wrinkles Burke and Gase can come up with. Not sold Burke can do this and not sold Ryan T. can get it done out of the gates.
