If we want to win, Ross needs to be a wise owner and make this happen. We need to gut and rebuild this roster. Too many deep wounds on this team and all T-Baum does is make quick fixes. We need a true QB. The good QB's are in the 2020 draft. We desperately need to gut this team and build a true championship team. I may be saying do what Gruden is doing in Oakland. We already have good pieces on this team such as X. Howard, Fitzpatrick, Tunsil, and Drake for the future. We are all riding on false hope. Trade and cut a lot of these players on this team so we can have good cap flexibility. Aim for a dynasty team because right now we have nothing. I love this team, I can't see them live in mediocrity for far too long.

I honestly don't know the answer to this question, but what about Peyton Manning's resume indicates he would be a good VP or even GM? I've heard this brought up a few times, but I'm not clear on why people are pushing for him exactly. I understand Gase has a report with him, but not quite sure how that matters.

I'm on board with this

Peyton’s success as a QB doesn’t nessesarily translate to being a good football GM. However, I’m all for swinging for the fences.

At the very least, the Fins will signal that performance matters, there are no free rides allowed. This will be a welcome change to the “he’s a good guy, let’s keep him” strategy that the Fins have used for the last 20 years (see: Henne, Philbin, Sparano, Tannehill, etc etc...)

And you guarantee Manning is the missing piece for us to be a dynasty?

I'm good with letting t-baum go but as far as Manning, I don't even think he wants to be a GM........on the other hand I believe Marino wants to be a GM but at the end of the day we should bring one of the other guys in but Ross won't clean house so it's all academic.

At this point IMO the best shot we have for achieving some level of success for a future we actually might be able to see and though this would need to be very costly if even possible but clearly our best odds would be to some how get Ozzie Newsome out of retirement and signed to be GM in charge of all football matters and Ross to go to Tahiti or some other far away place and stay out of any football related decisions besides telling Ossie I'll write all the checks you want.....
Slim shot and clearly at this time IMO the best choice we could probably ever make....
