Too many variables to make that statement. If RF starts the 1st 4, that means Rosen is 7-5. Not real bad. If Rosen starts all 16, the 1st 8 are 2-6 and the last 8 are 5-3, that's still not bad. If the O scores 30+ a game behind Rosen, but the D implodes, still not bad. 7 wins is only bad for those wanting a top 3 pick.

Exactly why I have said, in a few different threads, record alone, is not a good barometer.

We didn't move up to the 10 spot to draft Rosen like Arizona did and we didn't have to pay him a bunch of money so apples and oranges.

If this kid can come in and be the franchise QB then so be it, there is no QB in next years draft whom could be as talented as Rosen, now you want them to pick a QB just to have one on standby? wake up with if they win 5 or 6 games bull...., no one is going to go out there an put their legacy, and their paycheck on the line with these performance incentives in their contracts.

Even if we draft Tua or Herbert, I hope we keep Rosen for the duration of his contract. I’d love to see us have riches at the position as the young guys develop.

Recall the Brees Rivers deal in San Diego. It took Brees a few years to get it together and after they drafted Rivers, Brees erupted. I don’t mind duplicating that.

The Dolphin ineptitude at the position is historic. We need to take a sledgehammer to the problem. No time for trying to paint the corners.
