Jason Taylor's Trade Value?

Trading him would definately mean rebuilding year!

Trading JT would be a debacle. Imagine Indy fans saying trade Peyton Manning or Miami fans in the 1980's and 1990's saying trade Dan Marino. It's unthinkable. Might as well just completely gut the entire team from waterboy to owner while we're at it.

Marino almost got traded. I have no link, but I have Shula on tape (somewhere), and he talks about when Dan and himself talked about that. It almost happened to Marino, so it can happen to anyone.:)

Not considering cap hit, what do you think JT's trade value is?
I bet you I know a few people on here that would claim JT for Edge straight up. Or better yet JT and our #2 for Edge and their 1st rounder. :roflmao:

I'am thinking it was back in the late 80's to early 90's. The Dolphins were struggling and they discuss that, and Shula asked Dan if maybe moving him would be an option. The more I think of it, it was more like in the late 80's.

Boy, I'm glad that didn't pan out. Imagine if Marino went to the Jets or Patriots. That's one reason you shouldn't trade good hard-working players just because it's a bad season

they are millions of reasons ( http://www.finheaven.com/seasonal/salaries.php ) he will not be traded in 2005 besides the obvious that he and Zach are the heart and soul of a great D.

We would need to get a hell of a deal to eat that cap space and there w/b no reason to get 2005 picks since we w/suck in 2005 so hopefully we could get a 2005 2nd and a 2006 1st, but anything less worthless. And of course, we w/need to trade Zach, Katina and the 2 boys too

This question is like asking what Marino's trade value would be worth back in '95...... Ain't gonna happen... :fire:

I have three words for you!

Pro Bowler -vs- Rookie

As I said, no pick can immediately fill the gap the trade would leave.

Technically.

1. Pro
2. Bowler
3. Verses
4. Rookie

Thats four words.
