we gave up 52 sacks in 2005!? Wow I didn't even know the season started. Where have I been? I guess whatever your stats are the year before can never be improved upon which i assume means that the bills will NEVER win the Super bowl because they haven't done it yet.

the fact is our line was horrendous last year, and no matter what changes were made, through coaches or players, theres no way that at this moment we can say that our line is not the worst...so lets just show week 1 that we are improved

they havent one one, but they went to four in a row, back when Jim Kelley was good.

By this theory alone the 49ers would be the worst.

They were the best team in football for 3 of those 4 years, and they choked.

Wide right was it?

Who really cares ? I think our line sucks, but I do believe it will be much improved this year...but to rank them like that at this time of year is silly. How does the Bills line look this year ?

It seems to me that all the predictions that are being made of the dolphins are a year behind.......This is a new year with a new head coach and a new o-line coach...I guess its time to prove the so called experts wrong again....

Last season. Which, of course, has absolutely nothing to do with this upcoming season.
I agree, that this perception will continue until it is disproven.

He ranks the freaking Giants line over the Jets? No way should Billy be ranked that high.
i do think the jets have a better line than the Giants, though the giants did sign some FA to fill a few gaps.

the bills line is good, IMO. ROT, ROG, and C are all very good.
our new LOG (anderson) is better than what we had last season. and im happy with that position.

the only lineman im not happy with is LOT. but we do have a very good O-Line coach, and dont forget that Free Agency has not ended yet.

all in all, 23 out of 32 is to high??? i would say its more around 18 or 19th. but if we pick up OT verba. that would DEFINATLY improve our overall rating.

Its rediculous to have the Jets line out of the top 10, period. They were among the tops in running the football, and had the leagues leading rusher. As long as they have not changed their Center, they belong.

I may have worded it slightly wrong. So let me say it again. There is no way that the Giants, or the Bills should be ranked ahead of the Jets Oline!!
I also think that Williams needs to play better. He's got the potential, but he tends to take plays off. So unless he does, then LT, and RT are areas of concern. McGayhee made that line look a lot better than they were. He could make them even better than the 23rd ranking, but as for talent, I guess they are in about the right spot.

i agree the jets line belongs above both the bills and Giants.

but while OT Williams has not been the dominant player we thaught he was going to be, hes not a weakness on the line. hes a very good player. i dont know about taking plays off, (i havent see that).

McGahee did make our line look good, but Teague and Valarrial are very good, consistant players. williams is also very good and consistantly improving. OG B. Anderson is about average. im just worried about LOT. but there is still a guy out in FA i would LOVE to get.

Wow, even at a rehash of last years line... we would be second to last. Did you watch the 49ers game? OH my we were in the backfield like every play. We at least had one or two that we blocked. LOL. It was a sad game and both QB's were probably soaking in the ice chest for half the week after that game. But The 9ers' line was worse than ours.

zone blocking schemes will help dramatically. I predict we will be in the low 20's. Based solely off of last year we were without a doubt the worst line in football
