Lets stick with this year. We are getting ahead of ourselves.PatsSuck456 said:Since we have all 7 picks in next years draft(so far, hopefully we could get more somehow) who or what positions should we go for?
pigskinguy said:Actually the next Daunte Culpepper will be Omar Jacobs of Bowling Green. Remember where you heard it first.
GreenMonster said:I have been pimping Jacobs for a while but I don't know if he is as good as Daunte was yet, he has only played on year..

what? young is a terrible quarterback. he had a good rose bowl against a michigan team that always fails against mobile QBs and all of a sudden he's the most wanted player in college. he looked average with an excellent runningback behind him, imagine how he'll play without benson. much like brad smith before last year, people will stop talking about young after 2-3 games.djfresh47 said:Except he was the best player in the Rose Bowl. He's not a great QB, right now but he has the physical ability to be a great QB, right now he's a tremendous athelete but not a great QB. His physical ability and his size is ridiculous, it just comes down to whether he puts it all together.
1: darnell bing is barely a 1st rounder at this pointzephon said:nope...I've got at least 3 players I'd take before Leinart (based on overall talent)...qb-Omar Jacobs, OT-Andrew Whitworth, s-Darnell Bing.
In addition to those I'd also take..just personally...Reggie McNeal, Vince Young (if he comes out), Brad Smith of Mizzu, Reggie Bush and DeAngelo Williams (for pure talent even though we have Ronnie "chocolate thunder" Brown), LB-Ahmad Brooks (who I think is better than DJ this year)...then there are ALL the LT that'll be coming... D'Brickshaw Ferguson, Eric Winston, Jon Scott, Max-Gene Giles, Marcus McNeil, Jami Hightower, and even Winston Justice.
That's a long list and I wouldn't take them ALL before Leinart...I just got on a roll there :) I don't hate Leinart, I actually think he's pretty good. There are just a lot of players I'd take before Leinart. The guys I'd honestly take before him...only considering what we MIGHT need a whole season from now would be...Omar Jacobs, Vince Young (if he declares), Brad Smith, Whitworth, Ferguson, McNeil, Darnell Bing (who I think COULD be better than Williams is for Dallas), and maybe Max-Gene.
Anyway, I just went overboard simply to say...NO, we don't ALL obviously want Leinart.

Dont get to excited, i think its a 7th rounder. We got it from Green Bay for Bedle, or something like that. He was an offensive lineman.PatsSuck456 said:Really? How did we get that 8th pick?
