Perennial All-Pro
Yah know it's pretty hard to listen to some of these guys when you feel like you follow football more closely than they do and they get PAID for it. the 2 stupidest things I've heard all off season are.
Someone on ESPN (I don't remember who), "The Dolphins O-line will again be the worst in the league because they are retunring all 5 starters from last season."
I had no problem with his opinion, if he thinks our O-line will suck thats fine with me but how much credit do you lose when you say we are returning all 5 startes from last season. Coming into camp we all knew Carey was winning the LT battle and McDougle was projected to start at RT so there was 2 changes right off the bat. Now we're looking at the possiblilty of Hadnot at center and Middleton at RG which would give us 1 starter (James) returning from last season. They get PAID, do your homework.
My second favorite line was, when asked what he was looking for in the Miami vs Chicago game on Monday night, Solomon Wilcots on NFL network said he wants to see what Junior Seau does. I mean it's like some of these guys have never watched football in their entire lives and every season it is a brand new game. What are the chances that Seau play in 1 of 5 preseason games when he's been injured all camp????? Even if he was 100% healthy I wouldn't expect to see a 16 year veteran at LB play very much if at all in the first of 5 preseason games. Of all the things you could be curious about the 2005 fins this guy picks Junior Seau. Unbelievable!!!!!
