10:36 am est....Sports center.

Yah know it's pretty hard to listen to some of these guys when you feel like you follow football more closely than they do and they get PAID for it. the 2 stupidest things I've heard all off season are.

Someone on ESPN (I don't remember who), "The Dolphins O-line will again be the worst in the league because they are retunring all 5 starters from last season."

I had no problem with his opinion, if he thinks our O-line will suck thats fine with me but how much credit do you lose when you say we are returning all 5 startes from last season. Coming into camp we all knew Carey was winning the LT battle and McDougle was projected to start at RT so there was 2 changes right off the bat. Now we're looking at the possiblilty of Hadnot at center and Middleton at RG which would give us 1 starter (James) returning from last season. They get PAID, do your homework.

My second favorite line was, when asked what he was looking for in the Miami vs Chicago game on Monday night, Solomon Wilcots on NFL network said he wants to see what Junior Seau does. I mean it's like some of these guys have never watched football in their entire lives and every season it is a brand new game. What are the chances that Seau play in 1 of 5 preseason games when he's been injured all camp????? Even if he was 100% healthy I wouldn't expect to see a 16 year veteran at LB play very much if at all in the first of 5 preseason games. Of all the things you could be curious about the 2005 fins this guy picks Junior Seau. Unbelievable!!!!!

He really said he wanted to see what Jr looked like???  UNREAL!!!! Let me guess, he thinks this unknown guy named Seau is gonna have a career defining season!!!! Has this guy ever been to a football game??

Yeah, that was really a dumb thing to say and it was said. I couldn't believe it.

That is one of the most ignorant statements I have ever heard in my life. How in the WORLD could Soloman say something like that, didn't he himself play the game?
As for ESPN! There is nothing they do or say anymore that surprises me, I know it won't happen, but I would LOVE to head into our bye week or the 5 or 6th week of the season undefeated, just to hear these moron's HAVE to talk about us.. and watch them grit their teeth at the fact.. but come to think of it, screw them, I want to be 6-0 for US not to spite them..

Gotta love Salisbury steak!!! Says the dolphins "parts" aren't very good!!!

C.Chambers
R.McMichael
R.Williams
M.Booker
R.Brown
D.Boston
Z.Thomas
JT
K.Carter
S.Madison
L.Schulters

I could surely add more, and the parts aren't very good??? I wonder what sport this guy Salisbury follows, cause it ain't football!!

Chambers- Not a top 10 WR. Drops too many easy ones
McMichaels- Cant block, most inconsistant player on team plus he is never there in key moments.
Williams- I am glad he is back and think he will dominate but he still needs to prove it.
Booker- Solid. Wasn't overly impressive but solid none the less.
Brown- Rookie hasn't done anything yet.
Boston- Coming off of season ending injry. Still not 100%
Thomas- LOL- Not an elite LB'er nor does he make that big play we need him to. Vanishes in the 4th quarter.
Taylor- Arguably top 3 DE in the league.
Carter- Switching back to DT. Who knows how he will do.
Madison- he is now the #1. He got burned plenty as the #2 plus he is obviously declining.
Sculters- The unknown. New team and new system.

Listen the fact is simple. I predict a 11-5 season, but some of you are being childish. Taylor is the only player on our team that is in the top 3 at his position. Other then that not one othe player is an elite.

New OC AND DC. New HC. 3 NEW starters on the O-line, 1 switching positions. Rookie RB to be the #1.

There is plenty of reasons for these experts to say we won't be good.

I don't agree with their assessment. But i am not a blind homer and realize he is absolutely right. Right now we dont have "Great parts"

Too many unknowns. New schemes. Inconsistancy with our offensive threats. New players.

The only sure "great part we have is Jason Taylor.

I still predict a 11-5 season but some of you are just completely blind with homerism lol

You're a Great fan!! If I wanted to I could do this same exact thing with every team in the league. You can say what you want, but notice with each and every player you only look at the negatives. You're the anti-homer!!
Some of us are childish??? What the He** are you? Mature because you look at the glass as half empty?? Do us a favor keep your "opinion" to yourself. I'm sure I speak for most fans here your negative opinion offers little interest.
Any player on the list above would be an asset to any team in the league.
Thats how you judge talent.

And what was said about the Chargers before the start of last season who were also 4-12 the season before last?? And where did they finish?? Yeah' you're right we will stink, what was I thinking!! We should listen to Salibury, now that you have opened our eye's to the talentless Dolphins!!

To bad you're not in Canton today maybe they would let you get up on stage and try to convince the powers that be in the HOF and all the Dolphin fans in the stands to take back Marino's induction because he never won a SB!! Ya know since we are being so negative!! Do you think Marino is a HOF'er or can you type up a list of all the negative things about him too??

Isn't it obvious? Salisbury will say he wouldn't be surprised to see Miami slump and lose the last 8-10 games because they're "5-6 win team who will finish last in the division." Or they'll be all over Miami's nuts saying, "how much they remind them of the Patriots" because if they aren't singing the patsies praises they aren't doing their jobs, right?

Wow!!! Amazing.

Shows your lack of comprehension skills.

I guess you conveniently looked passed where I said we will go 11-5.
I guess u missed the part where I mentioned I disagreed with them

Some of u are ridiculous homers. I am the biggest fan and will continue to be a Phin fan.

If u could not understand I was simply stating the issues of our team and why some would critiscize or doubt then that is your problem not mine.

The fact of the matter is that his statement was absolutely right.

We do have alot of good solid players on our team. But that doesn't equate to winning.

I like Chambers. Always have and have stated many times he will one way be an elite WR. It just seems he loses focus at times and drops easy passes.

LOL learn reading comprehension before your go off with your philosophies and ridicule.

The fact is simple. There are many reasons why anyone would say we will be bad.

But once again it looks as THOUGH YOU ARE THE ONE WHO ONLY LOOKS AT THE NEGATIVES.

How convenient that when u disagree with me all u bring up are the negative points. You don't bring up my prediction of a winning season nor do you bring up that I disagree with the analysts assessment.

Look who is looking at the negatives now huh?

Geez you jumped on me like some of you jump on any analysts.

In this thread some of you are bashing Sean, but yet when he ranked MIami as the 4th best fan base all of a sudden he is right lol!!!! Wht hipocrasy and irony in all that is holy in Phin land.

Phin fans are right only if they think every player at every position is the best. If fans believe that they have potential but have yet to show it in terms of McMichaels and Chambers then all that poster does is look at the negatives blah blah blah.

Get real.

Please don't diss our precious Dolphins because if you say anything other then they are the best ever and Gods then u are obviously wrong and need to leave this thread because you are pessimistic.

LOL

It's simple we have alot of great talent and potential. That's.

Stop being blind and be a realist. It's one thing to be optimistic it's another thing to be realistic

I care more about a heaping pile of cow crap then anything you write!!!

guys, guys, guys,

isn't about time for the dolphin nation to come together and demand that espn takes their lips of the pats rear end act like professionals ? they only do this because they dont think dolphin fans will stand up for their teams like the jets , and the bills. this is only my observations , for if you listen to espn if they rip the cowboys or steelers thses teams fans call in and argue their teams case. if enough dolphin fans raise hell maybe it would help. at the first home game as many fans as possible should make some signs to piss those a_ _ holes off like flipping the bird or something clever.

you have to remember that salisbury steak is not a fin fan........remember the movie " longest yard" ( the remake ) Marino asked who taught him to pass and he said Salisbury gave him some tips"......Marino with HBO at the time, said" Saisbury?" " he couldn't hit the ocean from the beach" that was very funny!!!!

all i know is we cant get any worse then last year and we got a better coach, more depth at all positions, we were in all but one game till the end last year so why cant we have a winning season like anyone else
