10/8 Practice Updates

Gibson didn't seem like an integral part of the offense this season so far, not sure we will miss him that much. Probably gone next season the way things are going. Totally cool with Wallace, hartline(thumbs down), Landry, Mathews. Really don't like hartline in this offense though

I am going to be very pissed if Trusnik ends up starting over Jenkins, this is a very, very, very important game, against a team that has a QB that can easily pick Miami apart all over the field, and could run effectively if/when he has to, as well as a scary RB that can take over the game if allowed...Trusnick better do what he does best, hit the returner on special teams, then GET THE HECK OFF THE FIELD.

I agree with this 1000% and twice on Sundays

I'm kinda in the same boat.. Gibson was looking real good last season but this year seems off... I think it's time for Landry to get more snaps and get experience. I've always liked/supported Hartline but he's underwhelming right now.. I'd be okay with upgrading this offseason, keep drafting youngins who may be playmakers

if satele isn't healthy for the game, I can see pouncey at center and no change at guard, for the GB game.

What's going on with Cortland Finnegan's neck? Heard no mention of the specifics whatsoever. Know he didn't practice today or Monday. Good news is they didn't activate any DBs from the PS or sign anyone so maybe it's just precautionary . He might not be playing excellent so far but we'll need his experience against the Packers.

I'm not a fan of the Pouncey move.He is way better at center then Satele and should elevate the play of the online as the leader of the bunch!

I don't want to see Moreno until he's 100%. Miller is looking great and even Daniel Thomas looks good with our line actually doing it's job. Also, we have Damien Williams who we all like. Get Moreno ready for Chicago and punish the weak Bears D. We have 11 games after this. RB is a position of strength, especially if LaMichel James can do a decent Darren Sproles imitation too.

Still, I wanna keep my Tannehill boner so I hope he keeps it up (oh, bad pun there).

More like a wishbone, lol.

There's only two ways to hurt your neck...

How we won against Oak is the perfect blueprint for beating GB, albeit we can expect Rodgers and co to amass just a few more points than the Raiders did.

But basically, we need to punish them heavily with the run before opening up the pass game.

We used the read option to great effect against Oak and I hope we use it even more on Sun. Get Tannehill keying the LBs and using his RBs, taking off himself or dumping off to a player in the vacated space. Its a strength of this team and a rare weakness of GB.

Our ability as a pulling line is coming on every week. In combo with the read option, we have a lot of potential to create running lanes and holes underneath. It mightn't lead to the shootout that emotionally I'd love to see, but a win over GB would be huge.
