Our best Offensive player gets 13 carries.

Screw the QB and passing situation.

We have lost our identity. We were known as a running team and now we are a fun and gun team.

Hand it to Ricky and the Fins win. Its a simple formula. He does good in the 4th quarter when teams wear down. We are not sustaining drives and eating up the clock anymore because we are so determined to make Griese or Fiedler the next Unitas.

What a joke that Ricky only gets 2 carries in the second half.

We were behind and the Colts were controlling the clock.

We got a couple of long pass to Donald Lee and Chambers on a drive. Last week everyone was complaining that we couldn't do it and now we're complaining that Williams don't get any carries because we're passing.

We haven't been giving the ball to Ricky enough all season long (outside of the Bills game where he may have been overused)....Ricky needs a minimum of 25 carries every game or he's going to be ineffective. Thats been the story of his career and I don't understand why our idiotic coaches can't see this!

Why would you give more carries to a guy who is averaging 2.8 yards a carry? His longest run yesterday was 6 yards. Plus the Dolphins were behind the whole second half. Maybe Minor should have been given more runs.

Oops! You beat me to it.

His average yards per carry last year was not very good in the first 10 rushes of the game either.....Ricky gets stronger as the game goes on while defenses get weaker. If you didn't see this last year, you obviously didn't watch many of the games.

If you are only gonna give Ricky the ball 13 times in a game, you might as well give him the week off because his average is never going to be high.

We gave up two First Round Draft Picks for this guy. We better use him and utilize his abilities or we will be crowned boneheads of the century.

Thats right two 1st round picks for a guy only touching it 13 times.

Thats insane, and anyone not thinking that is smoking crack.

I'm not unhappy that he didn't get more carries, because if we make a play at the end, it doesn't matter... The O-line is garbage, plain and simple, and I see no way of it getting any better anytime soon...

As fans we'd love to see him carry the ball, and the team, more... Unfortunately, we didn't have the luxury of handing him the ball a lot in the 3nd half...

the Colts had 8 men in the box most of the game and kept the CBs wide w/Bashir (or Doss ?) as the only deep help. That is why the middle was open all day for Lee and McM. Ricky and our O have not shown the ability to run ag 8 men in the box for the last 5 weeks. Somehow they need to, but Tenn will be much tougher to do so that Indy

Why do you guys spout stats that aren't true?

Ricky Williams 2002 Stats
ATTEMPTS 1-THROUGH-10 Att:160 Yds:762 Avg:4.8 Lng:45 TD:6
ATTEMPTS 21-THROUGH-30 Att:72 Yds:382 Avg:5.3 Lng:63 TD:4

Ricky Williams 2003 Stats
ATTEMPTS 1-THROUGH-10 Att:80 Yds:237 Avg:3.0 Lng:28 TD:2
ATTEMPTS 21-THROUGH-30 Att:32 Yds:105 Avg:3.3 Lng:13 TD:0

I think that we would take a 4.8 avg this year instead of the 3.0 he has this year. But, your right, he sucked in the first 10 runs last year.

Uh, 0.3 yards more this year after the 20th attempt. Yeah, keep giving him the ball. This is a different year, he is not getting it done. Be it because of the o-line or not, he is not the same runner this year.

Wow pretty good. I see no response after that one. Its true Ricky is not performing like last year. Last year he ran differently, he exploded off the handoff and used his power through the running lanes. This year he's too picky about his gaps and too overly patient, which defenses are catching up, considering our O-line situation too is not helping with his new running style.

Maybe you should stop smoking that crack while watching the game.

Keep giving him the ball? At 3 yards a pop, that equals 3 and out every time. The holes aren't there....our line sucks. Believe it or not, until the line gets improved our strength is now the passing game. That is a fact.

The Colts were allowing 4.7 yards a carry coming into this game, and Ricky still couldn't run against them. If they had continued to feed Ricky the ball our defense would have been on the field even longer than it was and you would have seen a Colt's blowout of the Phins. When you can't run against the Colts, something is horribly horribly wrong.

Anyone who doesn't realize THAT is smoking crack.
