13th pick who you be taking?

Hey smartass your defending Grier? Dolphins are a joke of a team going nowhere. I said in order to have a chance this season to succeed we needed guards. Guess what that’s still the case & y we are not playoff team. Go ride Grier dick somewhere else
Lol. Ain't defending Grier ...in fact I want him gone.

If you are gonna try to make a point. Think it through a little.

Chop appears to be a good pick. Not injured.

Now if you say Cammy Smith and Tindall, Eich, Iggy...am all ears.

About riding dicks, not sure such quality penmanship goes down that well here.

At 13 there is a good chance a decent player falls. We can take BPA. QB, WR, Edge are the obvious spots but another tackle or DT with pass rush upside would be worthwhile. CB? Sure add youth if the pedigree adds up.

In short... like a hooker, we have a lot of holes (apologies to the moderators if that last sentence was too brash).

We're not going to get much from Free Agency. It's best to get that out of people's heads right away. We'll be in the mid-range market and picking up the guys left out of the first wave of signings... we just don't have the money.
Chubb and Armstead are probably both post June releases, and if we do trade Hill, that will come with an ugly and immediate cap charge.

Any brother that comes in here and says 'just restructure' the existing contracts should be ritualistically killed due to stupidity.

Money WILL be tight and the key to this offseason will be those 10 draft picks.
Time to take the salary cap lumps

Our draft last year was VERY good...
keep telling yourself that sir. The issue is we are used to mediocrity

i apologize, Siri entered dick by error, I meant to say stop defending Grier. 😬

Lol. No worries. I appreciate most on here are pissed at this season. Me too.

I’m not pissed, I’m annoyed because I knew since last offseason when Grier said we the fans are more worried about the OL then they were, I knew we were screwed. And wonderlic star Tua didn’t help by not sliding which got him injured.

Can believe I'm going to do this but I have to. Big Georgia fan, watch every game at least once. I'm going to tell you that the 2 Georgia kids you listed aren't right for Miami, at least at 13

Jalon Walker is very similar to Chop, great first step but is really just an edge, not an all around LB. I think we'd have two smaller edges who probably would invite OCs to run right at them.

Malachai Starks is a good safety but much like Jevon Holland struggled to make big plays in the last 2 years. I wish I could tell you that he comps to Minkah Fitzpatrick or Sean Taylor but he doesn't.

I saw Pearce and Scourton play great this year and if they can hold up against the run and are closer to 265, 270 I'd look that way. Stewart is huge but I don't think the production is there
for the record both Texas A&M ends/edges are listed at 285. Scourton looks like the more productive pass rusher at College Station. That is big enough, you'd think, to hold up in the run game. I thought Scourton was lighter.

Don’t be surprised if we go Edge at 13 even tho we drafted Edge with our top pick in the last draft. For those expecting a guard with our top pick, that's not gonna happen but maybe with our 2nd round pick IOL could be the pick.

Oh well, there went offseason optimism up in smoke.

I’d note, this clown is so terrible that he can’t even say “win a championship.” He’s content with “competing” for a championship.

The safety from Georgia or the TE from Penn State....
Good players but there is zero reason to spend a 1st round pick on either of those positions. Top 15 you go QB, OT, DE/OLB, DT or WR (if they aren’t 5’10” and 180lbs). Teams have been drafting Pro Bowl quality TEs and Safeties day 2 for many years now. In fact, most of the best players currently in the NFL at said positions were not taken in the 1st.

The reality is NFL contracts for premium positions are wild and will only get worse. You need the 5th year option to control contracts for guys who are going to make $30M+ per year. Safety is basically the RB of the defense; you can find quality starters in the draft or FA every single year.
