2:20 p.m. Dolphins injury update

I'm thinking McCains illness was dehydration and close to hyperthermia. ...... he was hurting something bad late in the game and it wasn't his hip.

Tripp needs to start practicing soon. I want to see him carve a role for himself while the opportunity is there. Rook needs to seize the day. Really hope McCain's injury isn't serious. He's one of this year's most interesting storylines.

Jesus, can we just put Jenkins, Trusnik, and any other LB in a bubble the rest of the week? Wow, these guys need to stay healthy to play ST too

Dolphins having problems with hips: Pouncey had surgery on one;Ellerbe lost for year with one;now McCain, absent today, with hip injury

Barry has it as hip injury also.

Sure sign that Miami is becoming a hip team.

Bada boom! :rimshot:

We're on the way up, folks!

hips don't lie the bills will be harder to beat with a stronger running game, Can the backup linebackers do it again?

Essentially the same thing. Well, at least in the fact that constant "jamming" of the toe that causes turf toe will also cause bruising to the toe area if the ligament damage is done to the PIP joint and not the MTP joint (in which bruising will appear at the top of the foot.)

How long does an athlete usually sit out with a bone bruise?

Philbin on Chris McCain, who has been sick: "Hopefully we'll get him on the field as soon as we can."

LB Wheeler says he think there's a good chance he'll play vs. Bills. Take it for what it's worth: Ellerbe said he was fine after Pats game.

Well that significantly hurts our chances if Wheeler plays.

Ellerbe was fine after the Pats game? What, did he just not feel like playing against the Pats that he went to the sideline complaining about his hip?

Seems like McCain is a go if he can kick his sickness by travel time.
