2 LBs that we could take a look at ?

Dumpster diving here. Let's wait to see who else comes available.

If the Browns don't want them why the hell should Miami. If they can't make the Browns....that should tell ya something

as usual, is see "NO THANKS" fans say that but they dont provide any explanation.

so, WHY exactly are some of you saying "no thanks"? is there a reason [as the o/p asked for] or is this just post counting?

our lb position is very thin. we drafted a promising rookie, but, he is just that, a rookie.

wheeler needs cut and elerbe frankly is an iff. there trying to find a productive spot for him right now. so, our "starters" are iffy and the bench is full of unproven or needs replaced players.

i dont see any reason "no thanks doesnt help either way" why someone like groves [who is still productive having produced 6.5 sacks a year for the past 3 seasons] shouldnt be brought in.

and all the "IF HE CANT MAKE THE BROWNS TEAM, WHY WOULD WE WANT HIM" stuff isnt accurate. guys are not always released because they cant play. money is usually a big factor. the browns are LOADED with depth everywhere and teams are trimming the cap fat. 6.5 sacks last year says he can still play UNLESS there was some big injury at seasons end.

It's a good point. We signed Grimes from a Falcons team that could have easily resigned him. Atlanta had a poor D. Our LB core is very bad, and a good team would look for any legitimate options - whether they be depth or starters.

Agreed. How many times did Houston sign a Wanny/Cameron/Parcells reject?

Did you just compare a pro bowler like Grimes to a journeyman scrub like Quentin Groves? Please rethink this statement. We need to see what we have @ LB already not add new iffy parts.

Wheeler and Ellerbe deserve another year to show what they truly have.

Grant is a 29 year old 3-4 ILB. Last year, he played in 2 game and had 1 tackle, year before 4 game and 3 tackles.

Groves is a 30 year old OLB. Last year, 4 games and 1 tackle, year before was OK on 480 snaps for Zona.

There will better LB's come early September when teams get down to 53.
