Brown vs. our RB core? No comparison. There is a reason why we are the best rushing team the last 10 years. We flat out dominate. Did it last season vs the phins when we rushed for 200 yards. So if Morris had "a good game" what did we have? You have a rookie who was very late in camp. Will he even start week 1?
Plummer is not in the same book as Gus. Does he throw bone-head INT, yes...but he also threw for 4000 yards with 27 TD's! Not gus numbers, look it up! Gus is nothing more than a good back-up Qb.
Madison was 7/8 of Bailey, now he's about 4/8. He is old and no longer the player he once was. Who do you have on the other side? Howard? Daniels, another rookie? And then your comparing Y. Bell who has no experience to Lynch, who is a pro-bowler? Do you watch any games at all? Not everything is about speed. He's a playmaker.
Push at LB? Are you kidding me? Crowder? Spragan? We got rid of Spragan to go with Gold. Williams is a beast and Wilson is a pro-bowler...your comparing that with a rookie and a player in Spragan who is nothing more than a poor man's Greenwood. However, Zach when healthy is still dominant.
How has your 1st team performed in pre-season? Hasn't your secondary looked cluless so far? What is the difference between last year's o-line and this year besides the name change on the back? How is your Qb play? Is it Gus? Feeley? Sage? The d-line couldn't stop the run in pre-season but got adequate pressure.
Preseason is preseason, but when your 1st teamers look so bad, you have to wonder.
No reason to talk crap, but there is a reason why the Phins went 4-12. They aren't a very good team right now. They have this year to build on, and next couple of years have a chance to be very good.
So sorry man, it's not the players its the system. Plug and chug. No doubt that the Bronco's can flat out run the ball, they should be able to with all the dirty play. As for your team being dominant - not so sure. If I could describe the Bronco's with one word/phrase it would be inconsistent/lacking focus. I'm not saying we'll win on Sunday just that it won't be a blowout and if it's close in the late 3rd or in the fourth we'll have a shot to win, all we'll need to do is execute and then Dolphin's fans will have a good measuring stick to evaluate our team. Our secondary won't have to be strong our front has been putting pressure on QB's all pre-season. You may be in for a rude awakening.
