2009-2010 Miami Heat Thread: Race to the Finish

they only bring their A game against the best. great win but god dam why cant they play like that all season.

Yeah I was there, great game last night for sure. A couple of funny moments from last nights game.

1. Beasley's rebound dunk (kind of) over Gasol, had Gasol looking up at the scoreboard to see how bad he got in embarrassed. That was Classic!

2. Jason Taylor fresh off his surgery (sling and all), picks Dwade off the floor at the end of the 4th Q last night. Priceless!

Toodaloo Rafer.

MIAMI - Rafter Alston's comeback with the Miami Heat apparently has come to an end.

The veteran point guard was suspended indefinitely without pay Saturday after failing to make himself available to the team.

Alston failed to report for practice Friday, which the team did not initially disclose, and then did not appear at Saturday's victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

According to the team, as of early Sunday morning Alston had not made himself available other than by text message.

His abrupt departure from the team came a day after he was demoted from his starting role in Thursday's overtime victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

I didn't like this signing from the start.

Alston thought he was coming here to start. And with this staff stuck with this idea that Chalmers must get playing time, he wasn't going to even see the court if Arroyo is the new starter.

The PG situation in Miami is abysmal....easily the worst amongst playoff teams, maybe the worst in the league. All the PG needs to do is bring the ball past half court, play some defense, and hit the open three. How hard can it be?
