Things are about to get interesting. #Browns are set to make a big push to hire Hue Jackson, source said. They'd like to close it out.

Browns are a legit contender for Hue Jackson in large part because they offered a big say in personnel, sources say.

The #Titans are set to interview #Lions DC Teryl Austin, source said. They recently received permission to do so.

Im told a name that's very much in play for the NYG job is Doug Marrone. If Detroit HC job opens up, add Marrone's name to that list too.

Things are getting interesting between the Browns and 49's for Hue's services. I think he still ends up in San Francisco

I kind of like that Vance Joseph is waiting...there could be some interesting DC's to choose from in about a week.

Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports that the Buccaneers has and will consider all available options when it comes to their head-coaching position including Alabama HC Nick Saban.

Meanwhile, Ian Rapoport points out that the Glazer family had interest in Saban back in 2012 after he just won a national title. With the Buccaneers’ job available, Rapoport expects them to at least consider the idea of pursuing Saban.

As of now, OC Dirk Koetter is still considered the favorite for the job, but they’re meeting with other head-coaching options as well.

The Buccaneers have reportedly interviewed Panthers DC Sean McDermott and Cardinals OC Harold Goodwin for the job with former Falcons HC Mike Smith also coming up as an option.

I wonder if Saban would consider it with Jameis Winston in place. Tampa may be a bit more to Mrs. Saban's liking...

Report: 49ers out of Hue Jackson sweepstakes http://tinyurl.com/j8j4e6v

The San Jose Mercury News reports the 49ers are no longer in the running for Bengals OC Hue Jackson.
It suggests either the Browns or Giants could be closing in on a deal to make Jackson their new head coach. Kawakami reports the 49ers could "double back" on Jackson, but that seems unlikely

I have no exact knowledge of what Hue wanted to do w/QB spot, but I've repeatedly heard that Kaepernick remains an issue for the 49ers.

Damn, the 49ers are screwed. Balke and York screwed up in a major way by pushing Harbaugh out. No coach worth anything wants to go there now. Sounds like they are the new Raiders, who can only land coaches no one else wants
