How do you explain a team like the Cowboys losing today. I think most would agree they have all the parts in all 3 phases of the game to go further than they did today.

Somehow or another Dallas always manages it. They had the same under Romo many times as well. My theory is that as Cowboys they are given the star treatment so much, even institutionalized coddling by Jerry himself, that it's a team of stars that are more like a bunch of independent contractors than a team.
