The years don't matter it's about how many players did he take and how many hit. The better GMs hit on around 50% of their picks and Grier has been in that range consistently.

That's the point. He stated 6 players were hits. Even if CG had drafted below half, say 3 offensive players each year.... That's 6 out of 18.....in my maths that's less than 50%

I went through all significant draft picks meaning rounds 1-4 late round picks are a crapshoot. He hit on 6, had multiple in the adequate starter territory and only 2 misses. Thats real good
