2nd Rounder for Feeley

Wrong again oh opinionated one. 1st off, I could care less how you try to "spin" it but giving up a 2nd round pick for a 3rd string QB is ludicrist.

Secondly to even suggest my friends didn't even know who AJ was is moronic. Since the people you question have been in fantasy football for over ten years wouldn't you think that they would know if McNab is out for mutilple game attributed to injury??? Just because your friends have limited knowledge on what player is on what team is your problem, don't pawn off your issues on me.

Thirdly, according to your logic you were in such desparate need for a QB that under any circumstances Miami attempt to get one. Wrong, if there is no quality QB's available on the FA market you don't just recklessly give away high picks on a remote possibility. In that case, you stick with what you have until something of value is available.

Also, after reading some of your previous posts try to keep the personal attacks to yourself. I'm not sure if your aware of it but not only does it make your discussions appear childish and takes away from the main discussion, it also just makes people want to flame back. Someone like yourself with the amount of posts you have should know better......

Anyone who knows anything about the QB situation in Philly knows that Feeley was their 2nd best QB. Detmer was 2nd string because he was the holder for FG's. Usually teams only activate 2 QB's on game day.
When people make posts like yours it shows their ignorance.

Show me one quote from anyone associated with the Miami Dolphins that says Feeley is in danger of falling passed the second string position.

That's nothing but, BS.

Saban came in with the statment that the starting job was Feeleys to lose. Well guess what? Right now they have to keep him around but the minute they get somebody else Feeley will be the first one gone.

Brock Berlin has had a better preseason that Frye or Orton. Does that mean he has a great future too?

Frye has played two games just like Berlin, he has two TD Passes to Berlins one, they both have a high comp. percentage, I wouldn't say Berlin has had a better pre-season.

The point is, Frye was a much more highly rated prospect versus Berlin.

Your ignorance is shining right now. You're telling me that AJ was 3rd string because Detmer could hold on to the ball for the kicker??

Let me let you in on a little secret.....if DM went out of the game do to injury, Detmer would have replaced him...end of story. If by some miracle they decided to skip Detmer and go right to AJ then no other QB can enter the game since he's 3rd on the depth chart. Reid would not put himself in that position for a "holder".

This board is getting way to hostile lately

Please... :shakeno:

Not only did I not personally attack you but, in your haste to spin out of this discussion, you forgot to address the point of my post....Tell me one other QB that fit all those criteria....that's the point....I'll wait while you make up another post that doesn't say anything in order to distract people away from the fact that you don't know anything.

So, in other words, it's just your opinion and has nothing to do with reality?

See but, the thing you don't understand is that Reid SAID that if D-Mac had to miss extended time, ie more than one game, it would be Feeley that started and Detmer would still be the back-up. Missed that didn't ya?

Thanks for playing.

Wrong, AJ was Speilman's pick....Wanny wanted nothing to do with him and it showed.
Your post doesn't make a lick of sense if you had the patience to read this thread before you posted, of course you had friends that cried about AJ Feeley, they probably never even heard of him but, ask those same idiots, what their big QB acquisition would have been, and remind them that he has to be a starter from the day he got here, and young so he has a future, and cap friendly so we could make other acquisitions that were needed last year....

I'll hold my breath waiting for them to come up with somebody besides AJ Feeley that would have fit all those criteria...

1st off, I did not accuse you of attacking me but you clearly attacked my friends that are Fin fans.

I did not miss your point @ all. My argument is, there wasn't anyone available @ that time worth a 2nd rounder. I don't believe in making hasty trades and giving up high draft picks for players that are not worth it, that's all.

Notice your second paragraph, it sure looks to me like you're accusing me of a personal attack because nobody would be dumb enough to think calling somebodies' friends "idiots" could be considered a personal attack......hmmmm....and after you resort to blatant namecalling in the first paragraph.....Kinda looks like hypocrisy to me...

Keep your moral sermons to yourself, I've been on this board for almost 5 years and I have yet to be banned for anything so, I'd appreciate it if you'd keep your comments about me truthful.

Now, back to the discussion..

..Speilman got the only QB available that fit the criteria of young, inexpensive (salary cap-wise), and with a future in this league, rather than stay with Jay Feidler. What you would have done would have been completely different if it was your last shot at keeping your job. What you would have done sitting there at your keyboard with nothing to lose except your credibility doesn't mean squat to this conversation.

So according to you referring to someone as an "idiot" would not be a personal attack and yet me calling you opionionated is name calling???? Fair enough, then you wouldn't mind going forward if I just refer to you as an idiot. Just made sure you let the admins/mods know that so I don't get suspended/banned in the future.

As for your second paragraph, you're completely missing my point. According to your criteria for a QB that Speilman was looking for AJ met that. I don't. He's a perennial backup as far as I'm concerned, you don't. That would be called a difference of opionion.

So next time keep your sermon crap and your little zingers about my credibility to yourself and try to stick w/the topic @ hand.

I missed this comment in all your rantings.

So, Reid stated Detmer would start if DM was injured? Please provide any kind of proof of this....... I don't you can.

Now go away

~kthxbye

Wow, there is somebody that thinks that way...
No, I don't consider it a personal attack to call someone else an idiot. It happens to Dave Wannstedt everyday of the week on this board. Calling you an idiot would be a personal attack. Something which I've never done.

Do I need to break down the word "personal" for you or do you have dictionary.com on your internet?

I think you're trying to ask for proof that Reid said Feeley would start in 2003 if D-mac went down for more than one game....I think...:hmmm:

If so, it was said, if you want to read it first hand, find it yourself.
