Whats your point?

Its preseason....we are still in the process of building our offense and making things work....Do you expect them to be scoring everytime they get the ball..

ok say if we had randy moss or marvin harrison or even TO you are saying we couldnt score a TD ?? like everybody has said on here we dont have a wr that top noch not saying chambers isnt i know boston has been to the pro bowel and booker but jeeeezzzz we havent threw the ball down the feild (in stride at full speed) and connected :shakeno: im sorry but i dont expect us to score a TD on every play but ...out of 3 games we should have had at least 3 TDs with the first unit imo I THINK our wr core just isnt got (as of now not in the pass)THE speed to break away from the safteys and cbs i dont know whats going on and dont say ol cause they are bad but not that bad soo if in the next game we dont start throwing deep and connecting then we need a whole new wr group that can go deep and beat the cbs and safteys listen im not saying that our wrs are bad but they need the speed to come on and stop dropping passes that hits them right in the hands until they do im saying that our wr core is just average at best i may get riped 4 saying this but you guys know that what i am saying is true :shakeno:

Jacksonville has arguably the best Def-line in the NFL and a very solid defense overall, Steelers has a TOP 3 defense..IMO, considering our situation, if we played well against them we should be talking SB, cause the defense is already playing pretty good

sorry but the steelers has THE BEST d in football there is noway that the jags has a dfence as good as the steelers:shakeno:

Gilmore and Chambers are two of the faster recievers in the NFL

what im trying to say is that they havent proved it where is all the first team TDs ? you tell if im wrong but if we had moss harrison or TO that we wouldnt have had a TD with the 1st unit they may be fast talking about chambers and gilmore but 0 tds for the first team in the 3 games that we have played

gilmore scored a touchdown.

Moss is amazing. TO is amazing. I guess you are right, Miami does not have one of the best wide recievers to play the game on the roster right now.

I guess u did not understand that I said 2 different things. Let me clarify for u:

1. The jags has arguably the best Def-LINE in the NFL, and a very solid defense overall.
2. the Steelers has a TOP 3 Defense overall (maybe the best,as even u said)

got it?

Go ahead guys, keep on bashing the QB's, but the finger is being pointed in the wrong direction. Those guys have no chance with this O-line we've got right now. There's no flow on offense, we'll get a completion then get stuffed two plays. If we could somehow get a little rhythm for the QB's it would then be possible to evaluate them.

Gus seems like the guy the receiver's want, so maybe they know something we don't. Maybe it's the fact that in Minnesota, when Culpepper was injured, he came in and did pretty damn good!

true true te jags isnt shabby by no means and the only thing i said was that the steelers has the best D in football heck there 2nd string is as good as alot of teams 1st but i know what you mean

ok about minn when moss was there you didnt have to throw to him just at him and he would go up and get it our ol is doing pretty good on the pass as saban said but they need to open up holes 4 the rbs to get through

give it some time, with the QBs rotating it's hard for either of them to get a good feel with the first team. As for the running game, the o-line definitely needs to block better and who knows Brown could do alot better then Ricky has done

I know its preseason, but these people were playing like complete kids. I expect a little more discipline and proffesionalism from these NFL athletes. Its a shame.

we are getting pretty good pass protection but cant hit the wrs in stride and the ol needs to open up some holes like i said 4 the rbs to go through that is what im trying to say

i'm not going to count gus's arrant throw to the TE that sailed way off the mark and gilmore made a circus catch.

so, as it stands, thats 3 preseason games and no 1st team tds.
:shakeno:

i don't want to hear the game plan excuse or the system is new or the unit is gelling BLAH BLAH BLAH..

no one else is game planning, and there are other teams running new systems with new players, and they don't suck on offense as bad as we do right now.

edit: gus actually wasn't even playing with the first team in the bears game so that wasn't a first team td anyway

Yeah it stinks that out of the 4.5 quarters our 1st team has played 3.5 quarters of that was with Frerotte at QB. EWWWWWW
