Honestly I do not think there is any chance that the game will not be sold out. If anything ESPN will buy up the remaining tickets. And once again we will be declared a sell out and you'll see hundreds of empty seats in the stadium.
Miami area fans suck we all know that, this really isn't a shockerhttp://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...potential-blackouts-in-week-one-and-week-two/
Come on guys, this game needs to be sold out, and I am not talking by Patriots fans. We need that game full and full of Dolphins fans. Embarrassing that the fan base can not sell out a prime time game on opening weekend.
Dude, there are ALWAYS empty seats when we are sold out.. Always.
lower the ticket prices, also I find it funny when out of town fans tell locals to buy tickets
Not selling out a home opener let alone on Monday night is sad.
Come up with any excuse you want to reason away not showing up but its this kind of local support that gets teams moved.
Dude, this is exactly what I was just thinking. Having went to high school and college in Miami, I'll tell those who want to blame the economy...Please stop!...This was going on waaaay before the economy tanked. So Fl fans are just fickle and simply don't go to the games. I'm obviously not talking about all fans, but way too much for my taste. Most of my friends weren't even Dolphins fans and they were born and raised there. Even when the stadium is sold out, the atmosphere is relatively dead, much like it was for the Heat in the playoffs. I long for the day this changes, if ever.
I agree with the sentiments of some of the other posters here. Don't make excuses for our pathetic fanbase. Economy my ***.
