32 for 47, 2TD's 1INT 353 yds 95.43 QB Rating

I dont think the QB /passing game was much in question. (except the AJ bashers) i thought they all looked great.

It was the O-Line.. 1.9 yds per carry 42 yds total. 2 sacks and the secondary allowing over 375 yds to the Chicago Bears under a new offensive system...

But again, as indicated above, Grossman only threw for 73 yards against our first team defense. And that was really mostly only because of one pass to Muhammad. Our first team D didn't do that horrible, even in the secondary. Let's give it some more time. If we are still seeing the breakdowns in the 3rd or 4th game of the preseason, then we may have a problem......

An open rceiver means nothing when the qb's are on thei a$$.

Bias? I am not the one judging your team based on one preseason game. However, if someone can do that then I will oblige with the same observations made based on that game.

I also am not the one making" the sky is falling threads" Some of your fellow finfans are. Are they biased against your team?

As all team fans, some football fans are idiots.

Plus is when he is on his *** that matters and what he did before he was on his ***.

I actually thought Brock Berlin played well. He was on a roll until the interception brought him down to earth. I think he's showed more potential then Sage IMO.

You are drastically discounting the Bears Defense. While they did show a lot of 8 man fronts and seemed to blitz on every other play (highly unusual in preseason games) their front 4 is better straight up then the front 4 for Buffalo, NE, and the Jets and the Bears will probably have a top 12 Defense overall. So I don't know why you seem to think that AFC East defenses are going to be that much tougher then Chicago's. Obviously the Bears were playing to win and to set the tone for their season...we obviously were playing to evaluate players in certain situations without showing much of what we plan on doing in the regular season (that was the impression that I got from watching the pre-snap looks that we were giving the Bears).
their D is not as good as ours. Their cb's are not as good as ours. They don't blitz as well as we do. Did you forget who's D lead the NFL is sacks and take aways? It was because of our blitzing.

I doubt the bears bring the same intensity AFCE D's bring when they play each other.

My point is, I don't see your team as bad as they were in that preseason game. I have more respect for Saban to do so. But like I said, if people want to make season predictions based on that game, they were horrible. I have been less critical about your team after that game because I know that it meant nothing. But for you to call me biased when finfans are worried, you are barking at the wrong tree.

justa, what you saw on Monday night and what you will see come regular season are two totally different things. first off, it was the first game and in the first game all players have some rust (just wait till the Bills play their first pre-season game). Secondly, we were not using any stratergy in that game, We didn't game plan

Get over yourself... like I said... CHICAGO'S front 4 is better then YOURS, NE's, and the Jets' front 4. The Bears were in a lot of 8 man fronts and blitzing a lot (highly unusual to show those packages in a preseason game). With it being the 1st preseason game...there was no game planning for opposing defensive schemes, etc. It was strictly to evaluate players in game situations without showing your hand. You can bet that Miami will game plan for Buffalo's blitzing and you can also bet that Chambers and Boston will get deep on YOUR secondary and Gus will get the ball to them.

off topic but I saw that you agree with me about Ricky Williams and that he has no love for the game anymore and might get cut

Ignoring facts from last season I see. Who cares if they were blitzing a lot. It doesn't mean that they are better blitzers than the bills, Pats or Jets.

speculation. Until that happens, all you did was play Ms. Cleo.

you read some parts of it wrong. I think the game is still in him but he needed to iron out his personal problems. Whether he can be a probowl player without the drugs is another thing.

I doubt he will be caught on any drug tests anymore, he is into yoga and enlightinment. those kind of people don't put drugs into their systems, he won't even eat meat anymore (he is a vegetarian)

Well I didn't expect this thread to trun into an argument, just wanted to point out that the numbers were decent and that once again we ( the dolphins fans ) were over reacting. I think it's very telling that if it hadn't been for one dropped pass, we would have had almost identical yardage #'s as the Bears as well as a better completion % and combined QB rating. If Feeley, Frerotte, Sage, or Brock could produce those numbers in a regular season game, I would be very very very satisfied.

I know .I'm into yoga myself. Although I can't bend very well I can float in the air and I can stretch the cute women in my class like a pretzel :D.
