DT as in Derrius Thompson?

Yeah

Also, he was sorta cryptic on the QB situation. I don't know at all, but I get the feeling if Gus was starting he would just come out and say it. He did say Gus had limited opportunities, but he praised Sage's performance a couple of times. Who knows? Hopefully we will find out by Monday at the latest.

You've got no business booing regardless, and if you were to do that around me, I'd knock your damn head off.

It's natural for the coach to try and get the fans not to boo, and natural for the fans to boo. If anyone has a big problem with it, I would tell them to grow up. This has been the nature of public sports since their very beginnings. Crowds cheer when you do something good, boo when you suck excessively. I would tell Nick to get over it, except I have a feeling that he does not feel strongly about the "fans are not allowed to boo" thing.

ACTUALLY... it was half a bag and a 2nd round ice pick.

(Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week! Try the veal...)

Screw that. I'm booing when I feel :D

Although it's very rare.

Here here. That's what pro sports is all about. Fans pay good hard earned money to watch the players play with skill and if the players don't do their freaking jobs, while being paid way more money than most of the fans could even dream of, guess what...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I read your guys notes right, basically he said Donnie Jones is going to be cut. With him going with Ryan Denney out of the blue just because he was younger, it certainly made me wonder if Jones would inherit the punting job from Turk because he is younger and cheaper. But, then again maybe Saban senses we'll be punting a whoooole lot this season, putting a premium on the punter lol.

They know where they are going with QB, but the players haven't been informed. So much speculation. Gus or Sage. IMO, Gus.

Yeah, the way he said he was expecting Turk to be back from injury the week of the game made me think the same thing. He didn't want to let the snake out of the bag on who was going to get cut, but I guess he slipped up on that one.

I just flew in from New York... man, my arms are tired...

Hello? Hello? Is this thing on?

Yup, saying that Turk will be back to practice for next week's game clearly means Jones is cut. Too bad, he's the best challenger we've had for Turk's job in quite some time.

Next time, try flapping when you have a tail wind. You won't be near as tired! :D
