Man, that's a lot of corn.
Philbin seems to be 100 times smarter than Tony.

My problem with this is we re-signed Murtha to a 1.9 Million 1 year deal who we picked up off the Lions PS and he played one pre-season with this team. How does PS with the Lions and 1 pre-season with the Phins warrant that kind of money?
Wait one minute.
I personally see a very very telling trend here.
We have had 3 solid Olinemen in the last ohhhhhh 12 years?
Guess what, all three of them have been first round picks.
Anybody else having problems connecting the dots here???
Austin Spitler is making 1M playing special teams and back up LB.
1.9M doesn't seem that excessive to me.
Murtha actually looked pretty good at LT while Jake was sidelines with injury.
I think he will be a good player for us.
Dam, just because your 325lbs will not make you a good lineman........come on Miami. stop picking up crap.
But on the other hand DeCastro if a ****ing beast, pick him up at #8............

The club’s first pick under the guidance of Bill Parcells and Jeff Ireland was left tackle Jake Long at No. 1 overall in 2008 and not quarterback Matt Ryan 1 overall pick in 2008. And as if to make sure everyone understood that was part of a grand plan, guard Justin Smiley was the group’s first unrestricted free agent signing.
In the ensuing years, Miami drafted five offensive linemen, including two first-rounders, signed five unrestricted free agents including high-priced deals for Smiley and Jake Grove, re-signed Vernon Carey to the biggest contract ever given a right tackle at the time, and made 42 other moves adding undrafted or street free agent offensive linemen to the locker room.
That’s a grand total of 53 moves, adding 50 offensive linemen from 2008 through 2011. This year, the team already has added veteran Artis Hicks in free agency, bringing the total number of linemen signed or drafted since 2008 to 51.
And out of that number, the Dolphins have three starters.
