68 yard hail mary is a throw only maybe farve could make. Im serious

An even better throw would have been one to the twenty five yards of the field that Wallace had wide open where he wouldn't have had to change direction and no defender could have impacted the play.

If Wallace would've gotten tackled Miami still would've lost, unless you expect the whole team to run down there, get set and spike it.

Just watch when this young team learns how to finish games, than all the praises for T-Hill will start, until then, they will only see whatever it is they want to see.. They beg for a franchise QB for over a decade, and when it hits them right in front of their faces, they don't see it..

That has nothing to do with Tannehill throwing to the right instead of the left. If Tannehill had thrown it to that side of the field, the defender wouldn't have been there to even touch him. As it was, I think even if he caught the one actually thrown he would have been down on the one and I don't know if they would have had time to get set.

Lot's of things will hit us once we have a coaching staff that can maximize talent for four quarters instead of two.

man it was a prayer heave wallace had to turn like 3 times to adjust to it..please...

dude...google it. youtube it. do whatever you gotta do to get your facts right. there are PLENTY of QBs that can throw the ball 70+ yards both current and former.

NFL Quarterback Longest Distance on Football Passes

Joe Flacco 74 yards

Jamarcus Russell 84 yards

Jeff George 88 yards

Troy Smith 73 yards

Matt Ryan 62 yards

Vince Young 65 yards

Phillip Rivers 69 yards

Peyton Manning 75 yards

Brett Favre 75 yards

John Elway 78 yards

Randall Cunningham 78 yards

Ben Roethlisberger 70 yards

This means that 68 yard, he Tannehill has rare company..

When you search youtube, you don't actually find to may guys that have thrown 70 yarders...

How many of those bombs are in actual games rather than the underwear olympics? I know that Jeff George's arm was truly, incredibly off the charts, but 88 yards in the air in an actual game? I'd love to see that clip.

The ball changed direction 2 or 3 times in flight? Wow. That's impressive.

I'll have to watch that again, I didn't realize Ryan Tannehill was that talented.

On a throw that deep, it's the receivers responsibility to find the ball earlier and make the adjustment. I can't believe the crap that goes on here. People complaining that on a 60 yard throw under pressure the ball should have been 6 feet to the right.

Wallace shows a lot of weekness in finding the ball. He finds the ball too late a lot.

6 feet? It should have been ten yards to the right. He was running that direction and there was nobody there. Instead the ball is thrown behind his back, where he had to change direction entirely and where the defender could actually come into play.

What are you talking about? Almost everyone on that list can throw the ball over 68 yards. I would venture to say the average amongst NFL QB's is probably 65 - 70 yards. That would make Tannehill slightly above average, not rare.

People typically perceive events in whatever way supports the viewpoint they have prior to their occurrence.

Wallace himself admitted today that the drop was his fault.

Did all of them do it on the run about to get planted? No ok. Slight above average lol. Look I come to Finheaven because it is the premiere fin site and the best at breaking dolphins news, but my god some of the stupid **** one hears.

Some will dislike a certain player no matter what he does....

I'm guilty of the same thing with Ireland

Then 1 of 2 things is occurring. Wallace misses the adjustment the first time or the wind is changing the flight of the ball.

Your post has little thought or a lot of agenda driven bias.

If he could throw the damn ball 40 yards with any accuracy, we wouldn't have needed a 70 yard prayer. I hope the best for this kid, but if he doesn't improve his downfield accuracy he won't make it long. Once this horrible coaching staff is replaced, he won't have the friendly confines of the people who drafted him being patient with him. I think he will have at least another year or two to prove himself, amd hopefully we are talking about how great he is playing, and how were set at qb for years to come.

True, but hopefully the new staff will be better at coaching, gameplanning, and playcalling in order to help Tannehill.
