8-9 In 2025-26

I can see this happening, even without having watched the video. The question is: will two 8-9 seasons be enough to clean house?

There are so many variables, but 8-9 is about what I'm thinking.

Now, if Tua plays close to 17 games it could be 10-11 wins. I'm also interested to see how the running game evolves. I think that's one of the keys. Get better on short-yardage and that could add a few wins.

Obviously, the secondary is a huge concern.

With Mr. "I like profits more than winning" Ross being the one to decide, then I don't think so. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing them go 1-16 or even winless if it would guarantee a complete housecleaning. However, unless Ross changes his attitude about winning, it's highly possible that the next GM and HC could be just as incompetent as what they have now, since Ross values the GM and HC getting along more than having them be successful.

Previously, I often said that I thought Philbin was the worst thing to ever happen to the Dolphins, but then McDaniel came along and out-finessed queasy Joe. That said, Ross is responsible for both of them and Grier, so he's the reason why Miami is a weak team that gets pushed around by tough physical teams and is a pretender, not a contender. Ross is the worst thing that ever happened to this team!

I would hate to see 1-16, but on the other hand, sign me up for whatever gets rid of each of the 3 amigos, Grier, McMoron and Tua.

I know what you mean, 1-16 or winless is pretty bad. However, IMO, getting a new regime who knows what they're doing would be worth putting up with a season like that.

Wishing your favorite team to go winless and then thinking Philbin and then worse,
McDaniel is THE worst thing to happen to Miami.

Those are three of the stupidest statements I’ve ever read on this forum in one single post - impressive!

Good luck with that prediction.

Without knowing the impact of any newcomers and how the walking wounded handle contact, this roster is weaker than last season's.

The Dolphins should get 5-6 wins based on last year's team and the schedule makers' fun exercise they have made for the team.

Any wins beyond those will be because the off-season moves panned out and Phillips/Chubb are 100% (or better).

If the moves do move the needle, then double-digit wins won't be a question, and the P word (Que Mora) will be in abundance.
