9/18 pracrice updates

Trusnick is a match up problem unfortunately, and we need Jones back to move Wilson back to the slot and Davis back as depth. Although its hard to harp on the defense when their the unit that finishes best statistically year after year.

I like what I've seen from Davis this year. He did have 1 awful play vs the Bills where he slipped and fell but, he seems to locate the ball well and not get overwhelmed in coverage. When he's on the field I look at him as a strength TBH. Wilson and he should share snaps at nickel as the season goes on and when Jones comes back.

I do not like the fact that Charles is back to work.

Davis can be the rotational player but don't think he is a strength, not yet at least. Thought he played ok in the Pats game but not that good in the Bills game and just don't feel comfortable with Wilson at safety. I do think Wilson did however play better last year as the nickel corner then in the past. It would have be nice to get Jones back ealry from suspension.

I think I just heard the collective exhale out of Miami all the way up here in NC

Davis is still an extremely talented back, and would most definitely start on this Moreno-Less team. It's a wonderful thing that the freak of nature in Charles is not playing, but Kniles could break one from anywhere on the field so we still have to keep him under wraps or it will get ugly

to be fair, with our poor LB'ers, any RB can start, and be a threat at breaking a long one.

Good analysis DT55. This is the main reason why I wouldn't take Miami at -4.5 this Sunday. I can see Clay carving up the seam and Williams catching some passes out of the backfield and tearing up the flats as well. This game is more of a crapshoot from a week 3 standpoint, both teams have showed great inconsistency through their first 2 games. Miami should pull out the W, but I am not sure if they will cover the spread. Decent chance this is a close game, decided by a FG late.

I bet against the dolphins more than I bet for them, but I like them this week by 7 or more.

looks like jamaal charles has practiced the last 2 days...crap
