Bellamy stands out.. I'm just really happy about that!

Sheriff is hooked up with his old buddie J.R. Toliver - suprised we did not sign Kassim Osgood too
Joined Kassim Osgood (108 for 1552) in becoming the first players in school history to catch over 100 passes in a season...

we have Stemke in NFLE

Byron Hardmon

Florida LB 6-1 234 /

Hardmon was an outside linebacker until last season but made a smooth transition to the inside. He isn't big or fast but is tough. His instincts are improving, but he still hesitates too much. Hardmon is a hard worker who plays with a mean streak and won't give up on a play. He has long, strong arms that he uses to keep defenders off of him. Hardmon is a sound tackler. He needs to add more weight and strength.

Maybe Lon Sheriff is there to throw passes to JR Tolver so we can get a better idea of what JR will look like against tougher competition when he has a QB that knows him pretty well throwing to him.

If Lon starts throwing to him in Norv's system against tougher competition and JR is still catchin plenty of balls, well...guess we know we could have somethin in JR.

Blankenship has touch passing skills and led the Big Sky in efficiency last season. He showed a knack for fourth-quarter comebacks and could be a good late-round pick.

Here is what I found on Stemke. With the NFLE experience he is better than any other option.

Kevin Stemke, Wisconsin
Punter, 6-2, 190

Strong legged lefty punter led the nation with net punting with a 38.7 yard average per kick. He won the Ray Guy award as the nations' top punter. Stemke is a two-time All-Big 10 punter with career gross average of 43.5 yards per punt. Thirty percent of his career punts were down inside the 20 yard line.

He gets consistently fine hangtime with little return yardage. Good directional punter. Solid late pick with early NFL starting grade. Giants interested.

Stemke is under rated, he punted a few games for the raiders while Shane Lechler, was out and had no drop off. He is a really good punter and I for one would like to see him beat out Royals.

I think that's why many passed on Bellamy. Kid is only 21. He won't turn 22 until the end of the year. Most rookies are more matured and turning 23 before the season..
