Allow all
Allow members
Premium Only
Now this post will go in the main forum of any other forum for that matter. depending on what i choose each user will be able to see my post or not based on there membership level and my choice in my post.
So i log in and look at the main page perhaps i see a posts with color codes. this allows me to determine who can see this post so aqua posts would be fore everyone, white posts would be for members and orange posts would be for premium. this way you can display all of the posts in the forum and have the ability to see what level each is posted at. Does that make it any clearer or did I make it worse?
What about using past players to describe the forum levels?Muck said:Good stuff all around. This is really a cool thing.
Next, we need to decide what we're going to name this forum and it's members. We talked about Blue, Aqua and Orange. If nothing else, the staff could use those colors for our own reference.
Should we call it the "Miami Dolphins - VIP" forum?? The Aqua forum?? I think whatever we do, we should keep the naming the same. Example: Premium members have the Premium forum. So if we call these guys VIPs, we should name it the Miami Dolphins - VIP" forum or whathaveyou.
Once we do that, Penny or Andrew could make a tag and we'll dole them out. :)
...will fill that forum with members...you might even could break it down to $12 for 6 months...."JUST TWO DOLLARS A MONTH!!!"...
Two dollars a month gets you this, gets you that, gets you away, gets you prizes, gets you dicounts, gets you Deeper...Gets you respect.
...and it keeps FinHeaven running strong.
Buy now, move on up the food chain....
As long as the threads themselves are NOT visible to free membership.... :)Celtkin said:I think that the three tier membership idea is a great one. For my part, I'd like to see it kept as simple as possible. Membership has it's own rewards. As fin-atic suggested, there are few, if any, of the Premium members who are here for the perks. I think there is a sizable segment who post here, who would pay $30.00 just for their own forum and knowing that their contribution helped keep our Dolfan home solvent.
I think that having a members-only forum that is visible to everyone but only post-able by any paying member, the non-paying forum in which everyone could post, and this one, which would remain invisible and it's membership, invite only.
The simpler, the better.![]()
