I am a fan of Brandon Graham, but weak side OLB is going to be the real problem if Taylor is not re-signed. Wake may develop into a pass rushing specialist SOLB. I don't have a lot of faith in the weak side.

Weatherspoon looks to be the best option at weak OLB, given his speed and coverage skill. Perhaps he should be the target if we are looking at the weakest link. A great scenario would have us trading down for a team that covets Spiller @ 12 and pick up a second, then take Weatherspoon later.

I did my own mock the other day and Weatherspoon ended up with the Lions with pick 34.

Not a guy i'm all that high on anymore for our team

It's too bad because Spoon is going to be a good player............................for a 4-3 team.

I can see New Orleans taking him at 32.

it's the same thing with daryl washington...you get more bang for your buck in a 4-3 with each of them...run and chase players attack the ball...need clean looks

and neither of these guys project as any kind of 3-4 wolbs...i don't see anything on tape that would even suggest that

Weatherspoon and Washington could both be 3-4 ILB's, but their maximum potential is in a 4-3 weakside where they can flash and attack the ball with clean lanes.

I actually like both players, but neither is anything close to a 3-4 WOLB.

that's a toss up for me...washington and spoon...i think washington may be the more point of attack physical player but i think spoon may be the more likely play maker of the two...

washington projects to me as the more effective get off blocks and shed player but i think spoon has the better quick acceleration to the ball...

spoon even in that soft conference he played in with east west running games and what not doesn't get off of blocks worth a damn imo...

i can see him having issues with downhill running teams in the nfl...

i still like both of them...as top 45 picks
