A look into 2009 draft 1st round

next year will be a DB heavy class lead by Vonte Davis(if he comes out) and Malcom Jenkins.

I hope we can get one of them.
 
They have us taking tebow, I dont know how he'll project to the next level, hes going to have to have a huge year passing the ball and prove he can do that in the nfl. We won't take tebow next year having henne and beck but tebow is the most interesting prospect to come out in years with what he does on the field and how he plays football and the level of talent he does it against.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Tebow decides to stay for his senior year. He always preaches about how much he loves learning, puts education first and all that. I feel like he cares more about school than ball. We'll see.
 
I almost hope we get the 1st pick if we suck this year we might as well be the worse again and take WR Mike Crabtree from Texas Tech. He is 6'3" 222 and had 125 receptions for 1861 yds and 21 TD's as a Freshman Oh yeah he runs 4.4/40 too This kid is the real deal and is better than Randy Moss ever was.He can come out after next year cause he redshirted. I would take him and I think Tebow will be a terrible NFL QB. He will not be able to run like he does and he doesnt throw well enough. Jenkins will be a good CB. And if Jake is a bust and cant play LT then we go Mike Oher OT Ole Miss. He is a beast and will def play LT as a pro. Vonta Davis runs a 4.3 and is a playmaker so why if we are in top 10 and he falls grab him.
 
If we draft high next year we should target Laurinitis or Mike Jenkins from Ohio State
 
some guys to look at are james laurinitis ILB OSU, ray manoluga ILB USC, malcolm jenkins CB OSU, michael crabtree WR tex tech
 
I love the crabtree idea, the kid is a beast. Wouldnt mind jenkins or laurinitis either. But who knows what will happen with beck or henne. Maybe we'll go after Tebow or Bradford.

now there is NO WAY we get a first or second round QB next year.
 
Okay Crabtree is a beast but he is no where near Randy Moss. Saying he is better than Moss means he better put up better number than Moss. I just don't see that.

I'd take Rey from USC, Crabtree from TTech, someone from Ohio St to even out this Michigan balance :lol:
 
Sadly there won't be any Canes worthy of the first round next year.
 
I like Myron Rolle as well, but Davis or Jenkins would be nice, same with Crabtree or either James or Ray at ILB. Next year we need LBs and dbs.
