A Match made in Finheaven

Some of us were Dolphin fans when we were one of the jewels of the NFL....So we go bats*** about the way this team has been handled for the last 15 years.

Yea, the Great Don Shula, sure left this franchise in great shape. No future QB. This franchise is a product of its early success in the 70s, and the almost but no cigar of the 80/90s.

My brother, a Bills fan, isn't sitting around like MIA fans whining and moaning. He knows what they are doing and still looks forward to the next season. Miami fans, when not shopping, clubbing, or trolling...find a way mid season to make a appearance at Sun Life Stadium. The Miami fan base is littered with has beens and never was. I've said it for years. I can goto a MIAMI/KC game in KC in -10 weather, and see more fans for that game, then a MIAMI home game.

The Miami fan base is fake on so many levels. Reading the game day thread, and you will see who wishes for loses and those who hope we win. And this board and its echo chamber get what they deserve. Disappointment. Even though the season is over. You will still find a way to be disappointed. Must suck to live your life that way.

 Bull****. Funny that you mention your brother and the bills when they continue to have blackouts in December. Time to pump up another fanbase, because those guys are ****ing terrible.

Regarding the final statement, I question how much of a fan one is when they aren't disappointed with how the season ended.

Whats this got to do with f***ing anything? I guess you like the way things are going or what?

Lol, mediocre post about loving mediocrity, bitching about fans who demand better.

I noticed you stayed away from my comment about KC and MIAMI. Instead going after my brother. Its really simple. That fan base has seen that team go some where while I've been alive. A lot of the MIAMI fan base, still live for the 70s and the yesteryear of glory. And I understand the Bills are terrible, but that team and its fans have enjoyed the domination put on the Fins in recent years.

Unlike you, and many others. I predicted a realistic 9-7/10-6 team, that would push for a playoff spot. They did not meet my expectations, but I also couldn't have predicted some of the nonsense that befell this team. I also understood, that a raw young developing QB would be the reason we win or lose. The last 2 games, were on him. He needed to show growth and command, he showed neither. He folded like a cheap lawn chair.

My point stands. I went to a KC/MIA game, -10 degree weather, and there were more people there than a MIAMI home game. This fan base really is a Conan O'Brien late night joke.

I stand by my preseason prediction. We fell a game short of my predictions. The part I'm disappointed with, is the QB. He folded up like a cheap suit. Choked.

As opposed to this post that is filled with win and wisdom?

Lol, a stupid post about loving stupidity, bitching about fans who seen things realistically.

So,your ok with it....but us oldtimers can't b**** about it....Is that what your saying?

What I'm saying is. Going into this season, if you thought MIA was a sure fire Playoff team with a chance at the SB. You did nothing but set yourself up for disappointment.

I manage my expectations, based on reality of the situation. Miami was led by a young raw developing QB. In December, when you need to win. Our QB fell on his face and **** the bed.

I'm not sure if there is a correlation between a team and the type of fan that supports said team, but i must say that the Miami Dolphins and a large majority of the fans who post here are perfect match. I look at the schizophrenic, inconsistent and wildly unpredictable product on the field from Sunday to Sunday perfectly mirrors what i see on this bored. Some of you are so in tune with this team that every missed field goal, fumble, missed long ball, missed tackle etc are quite frequently predicted before it happens. Sometime even before the game starts. I am in amazement at how well you guys know your team and their losing ways. There's an old adage that says it takes one to know one but who know's if that's true?

For the rest of you, i'm not sure why you are here or support the Fins. Those of you who believe this team will actually win games or otherwise have a positive mindset towards the team and the organization are completely off base and need to turn in your fan card and fins gear cause ya'll just out of sync with the reality of the Dolphins franchise. There is no place for you here. The rest of you who can successfully predict a Dan Carpenter game winning field goal as revenge for being cut by the fins before the game even starts deserve the team you have. There is nothing more heartwarming than seeing teams and fans who have such similar mindsets come together. So as the Dolphins prepare for the off-season and draft, i fully expect to see posts predicting that the owner will make the worst hiring or non-hiring possible, that the teams draft picks will all be busts and that the Fins will be stuck in mediocrity for the rest of their existence...until they move to L.A. So when all this happens, just remember, you and the fins deserve each other. Happy New Year.

This may be the worst post in the history of FH. You sound like a closet Jet's fan and a very insecure person. You come here to pop off for what reason??? Don't let a bus run you over.

You have offered nothing. Its why I have no problem mocking your childish posts. I should not expect much from some fans though. I guess this is what this topic is about. Your a happy mad person. Have a Merry New Year.

No..I want to see progress and improvement...There was none...Same o same o...like the last 13 years.

So ALL my other hundreds of posts on this matter are judged on a post I find not intellectually worth delving deep into because of it's pathetic attempt to indict those of us who believe in excellence.

Brilliant

All led by Tannehill. He could have taken that next step and produced in December. But he didn't. Am I surprised.....not really. His playing days at TAM was a small window into Tannehill/Sherman results.

And why just the past 13 years? How about since at least 85? The great Don Shula couldn't beat Marv Levy. Dan couldn't find a running back he liked. And the FO did nothing for this franchise to get it looking past Dan. This fan base deserves this team. Sadly, I'm a fool too for loving this team.

I have many posts also. You just cherry picked one. And came with stupid one liners. Then you decide to open your dictionary and delve into the utter nonsense of stupidity.

Here's the deal. If you thought MIA was a sure fire PLAYOFF team prior to the season. You deserve the disappointment you feel today. If you felt prior to the season, that Tannehill was the answer. You deserve the disappointment you feel today. If you felt prior to the season, that MIAMI would be Super Bowl bound. Then, yes, you deserve the utter failure this team was in reaching this goal.

And yet they still couldn't turn up for the Bills-Dolphins game. Horrible fans. It's not like they have anything else to do up there. Buffalo is horrible. As for KC, they absolutely have loyal fans. This is where a basic understanding of business and demographics comes in handy. It doesn't even take any college courses, since it's mostly common sense. What are the demographic differences between a place like KC and a place like Miami? In KC, you have a bunch of fans who were born and raised KC fans. Most have families who have lived in the area for generations and many haven't even stepped foot outside of the state or maybe it's surrounding states in their lifetimes (I spent more than enough time in the midwest and south to know this is largely the case). I need to look into it, but I'm betting that they had sellout problems during their down seasons despite all that, and if they had a decade of it, they'd be having to worry about blackouts as well. That's one thing that transcends demographics.

Meanwhile, you have the population of Miami, in which something like only 20% have been born there. The rest are immigrants and northern transplants. Add in the fact that there is a hell of a lot more to do in Miami for entertainment, other sports that have successful teams to spend your money on, and a team that has been **** for well over a decade and this is what you get. And yet still they sell more tickets than the bills did at the end of the year. Are they going to compete with KC? Of course not. At least not for ticket sales. They never will unless they rebuild a perennial playoff team. Profitability? Miami is still the more profitable team despite being less successful over the past decade (16th vs 20th respectively). Miami still manages to have a larger national and international fanbase. Why? It's Miami.

As for predictions, I made mine pretty clear at the beginning of the season in the staff predictions. I continue to give this team too much credit apparently. It is funny that you lambast other fans for being disappointed, then go on to express your disappointment in the team and specifically Tannehill. A bit hypocritical.

The only joke about this fanbase is fans from other parts of the country blasting the local fanbase. Put your money where your mouth is. If you didn't go to nearly every home game this season, you are full of ****. "I go to one game every year but can't get the time to go to others," "Oh, I'm poor, I can't afford the plane tickets." Excuses.
