A message to all Dolphins Fans

New year, Same post defending the front office and bashing the fans...It's our fault.

You gotta be a blind faith homer to be a "Real" fan...

Just like last 3 years, the same group of people attack the fans first and always defend the front office.

I swear I recall Ross saying he was going to get us the franchise QB this offseason. I do remember him saying he was ready to spend as well. Yet we cut Bell and Marshall for Cap room??? I honestly am waiting to see our next press conference and watch Ireland rip his shirt open only to reveal a New York Jets T-shirt underneath.

Props to you for remaining optimistic, but this has just turned into a joke. Mike Nolan/Brandon Marshall are gone, we will feel that. Now we have no QB, WR, and our defense that was still pretty good is completely revamped and I am going out on a limb here and am just going to assume it will suck.

Seriously David F* Garrard?!

If Philbin gets us 6 wins he deserves Coach of the Year....

The most hilarious part of this whole charade is how badly Ireland and Company have misread everything this offseason. Denver had $40M+ in cap space and wanted Manning. There was not a chance in hell that the Dolphins could even come close to paying Manning $18M+ per year. The whole Manning situation was DOA. It was never based in reality. Then we lowball Matt Flynn...even though the deal he signed with Seattle was BELOW market-value for a decent NFL QB. Are you telling me you'll commit to David Garrard as potential competition for Matt Moore, but you won't guarantee Matt Flynn, 8 years younger and coach by Philbin for 4 years, $10M to be potential competition for Matt Moore?? That makes absolutely no sense. When the news comes out that Manning was possibly going to SF, Ireland jumps at the chance to talk to Alex Smith. Why wasn't he talking to Alex Smith right when free agency opened?

Mistake after mistake after mistake. Just like our draft picks ever since Parcells brought Ireland to Miami.

Thanks for the Post. It was a good read and hopfully brought some back to earth.
Yes some moves made us want to rip our hair our but i'm sure its all for a reason. I hope we bring back Bell as now saftey is a concern for us. I think this entire tme we have wanted to get Tannenhill but were looking for someone to help him learn the position better.

I'm hoping Garrard has some of what he used to and our WR's arnt bad yes we have no true #1 but Philbins offence doesnt require one.
We will probably draft 1 or 2 wr's and fill that void. They think murtha can play the opposite tackle and that really leaves DE. I will be here threw every season but cant wait till we can be a 10+ win team again.

The source quoted saying that Garrard will have a chance to compete for the starting job. . . no bueno. Garrard was done before the herniated disc. I am totally fine with Moore in the mix. He played well down the stretch, showing flashes of great decision making and gumption and athleticism. But. . . we just kicked the tires on a bunch of dudes in a major way and will likely draft a QB high in this draft (hopefully two in the first three rounds), so that the dude who cannot have second thoughts in order to play well has to be wallowing in self-doubt. Repeat of last year with Sparano and Henne. And then you cut one of the team captains.
