Henne was almost perfect. He made some terrific plays to Hartline deep down the field. You guys need to get off his jock. SERIOUSLY. He isn't the reason why we lost. Do you not remember Marshall dropping a TD pass that hit him in the hands? I don't see ANYONE pointing at Marshall. Learn the facts. Daniel Thomas also played outstanding. This kid is really special. However, If Carpenter would have made that first FG that would have been the game. If Reggie Bush didn't have hands of tissue paper and stops coughing the ball up we would have won. If our o line hadn't of given up 6 sacks we would've won. IF OUR DEFENSE COULD STOP A POP WARNER TEAM, we would've won. Our defense is like a charity out there. Clearly something isn't right when Nolan Carroll is starting the game. This guy is a turd, get him out of here. Hes always reacting late to plays and cannot wrap up. The penalties are horrible, that goes back to technique which goes back to the coaching.

Reggie Bush needs not to run in between the tackles but he needs to be used in the passing game. The guy is a twig with tissue hands. Henne was a baller today with the exception of that last drive. He made a couple bad plays from what I saw but other than that he lead the team down the field on almost every possession.

I might get criticized for this, but Mike Nolan needs to be canned as well. Our D hasn't done anything worth while AT ALL this year. We have the talent but not the 'passion'. Im getting very tired of Shaun Smith getting abused and looking all "lazy". He doesnt fight for position or the ball. The true losers of this game is not Chad Henne. I will list them below. As soon as these 'issues' are adjusted im sure we will win games.

1. Our Entire D
2. NOLAN CARROLL
3. Pass Protection(Henne was getting creamed even with 3-5 step drops)
4. Reggie Bush
5. Our play calling inside the 20.
6. Penalties
7. Marshall's key drops
8. NOLAN CARROLL

I know i listed Carroll twice but its because hes that much of a liability to this defense. Any time hes in you can count on a completion for a nice gain or a missed tackle. That is all. Enjoy.

It seems like forever since we have had a defense that could consistently stop a team when it mattered. I don't ever remember having one. Even in the Jimmy/Dave years when we had a great defense they always melted in the crunch, during the playoffs, or when the game was on the line.

Henne sucks enough already guy is.****ing terrible couldn't get 15 yards with 43 seconds and 2 timeouts!

PS
The guy in your avatar sucks too! Softest lb in the NFL he is Barbie Carpenter soft!

How many times are we going to defend Henne? Good start, bad finish. That is Chad Henne. He has improved by perhaps a decimal point, but is still a below average quarterback. A good quarterback can put his team on his back, and give you the W. I won't pin it all on him, but to say he was almost perfect is the biggest exaggeration I've heard in a while.

Henne had 10-15 yards to go get at the end of the game. A quarterback worth it's salt in this league takes the team on his shoulders right there and makes it happen. Period.

That's what people are fed up of. He has some nice throws here and there, but then you NEED the throw... nothing.

When you dominate time of possession like we did today and have as many chances as we did there is no excuse. The defense played good enough to win end of story. We had tremendous field position all day but couldn't muster more than 16pts. We had nearly 40 min time of possession and we only got 16 points on a tired defense. I think everyone has their fair share of blame, but you are spot on that the right side of our line was terrible.

Heres the thing guys. you are TOO focused on the FINAL drive of the game. So what about the other 3 1/2 quarters of football that was played. I agree henne sucked on that last drive, but you cannot keep putting him in that position. there are 10 more guys on the field that need to do their job, and another 11 on the other side of the ball. You respond with 'Henne sucks' why not Marshall sucks, or Bush sucks, or nolan carroll sucks. Henne could throw for 400+ yds like he did against NE and he would still suck. Maybe he needs to start throwing it to himself. He won't drop them like Marshall has.

That was my avatar from last year, just havent changed it yet. But I agree hes a turd also. Infact the phins are a pile of turds at this point. Its sad to say.

Not an exaggeration at all. Hell at the half he had only missed 2 passes. My thing is everyone points the finger at him but fails to address the bigger concerns. Henne is okay, leave him be.

Want realistic thoughts on this team? We are very very far from being a good team. Period.

Because when those guys took the field with 40 seconds left, they had one objective, and nothing that happened before influenced what was happening in that drive. Gain a couple yards and win the game, or go home losers.

For the record, I'm not just focusing on the one drive. I'm focusing on Henne's entire tenure as QB, featuring numerous times where he had simple feats to accomplish to win a game and couldn't do it, or others where he choked away victories by throwing picks, or forgetting how to complete passes in the 4th quarter, or just not even showing up at all.

There's always an excuse for you Henne supporters. You can't accept the fact that when your guy has the opportunity to earn a win, he utterly fails.

Ok so let me get this straight. I agreed that Henne was horrible on that last drive, but what about the rest of the drives were we drove 80+ and just couldn't get anything done. Did he get called for holding, or did he drop clutch passes. Did he also fumble the ball? Didn't think so. Also I didn't know Sparano told him to suit up and play defense either. But as questionable as that sounds Sparano might actually do it.

You can't sit here and tell me Henne lost this game for us unless your name is Ray Charles. Our defense on that final drive had many opportunities to put the nail in the coffin and they didn't. Thus putting all the pressure on the O to score. Yes it was a short field but if the D could stop at least a leaf blowing around on the field we'd be okay and wouldn't be in a high pressure situation on the road.

He did improve.. He went from very bad to average or a little below.

Brandon Marshall went from elite to average. His drops are becoming very very displeasing. Too many times this year hes dropped sure TD passes.
