A more realistic thought on the browns game

I may have missed the play, what sure td pass did marshall drop today? I know he was targeted once, but to me it looked like Hayden made a good play. Just wondering if I missed another instance or if this was the drop in question.

He dropped it. The guy I guess was Hayden never touched the ball. Hit Marshall right in the hands. Hes supposed to make those catches

Henne is playing better than at least HALF the other QB's starting games currently.....What goggles are you wearing? If you don't like him that's fine but statistically your way off base and looking a little foolish with a small comment like that. Henne's doing ok and that's all we were hoping to get out of him this year...he's delivered that, the same can't be said for the remainder of this team.

Oh I'll have to watch the replay cause I didn't catch that. I was at the game in the nose bleed sections and I though Hayden actually made a good play but thanks for the info.
 
If the phins could just cut down on the dumb stuff we'd be okay.

Why don't you go ahead and name the 15 starting QB'S Henne is playing better then? Because, statistically only 5 QB'S are doing worse and one of them is playing with a messed up thumb on his throwing hand

Yeah it was 1 bad play bya WR followed by 2 or 3 from Henne. Kinda how it goes.

The Henne apologists get a play like that from Marshall and they feel it nullifies the other 20 times he was garbage in the redzone.

Good QB'S come righ back after those plays and turn it into a TD. Henne doesn't. Plain and simple.

For every 1 play that the team messed up on Henne follows with 2

In this game atleast.

You know, the sad thing is if Jason Taylor just does his job and doesn't try to be a hero and guess the snap count Miami probably wins this game as it would have been 4th and 10 not 3rd and 5

Why is this a bash Henne thread? Do you not agree that our D sucked or Sean Smith got mugged in the endzone and/or our o line gave up 6 or more sacks? I guess it was all Hennes fault. Yeah he had a couple bad plays, but like I said for the rest of the game he drove this team up and down the field. How bout that pass deep to Hartline? Penalties, turnovers, our lack of defense, no pass blocking, bad play calling and a couple bad decisions made by Henne. This loss doesn't rest on his shoulders.

I agree. I know it was only one drive, but Henne was not the reason why the final drive of the game failed. Thanks cornfed Columbo Henne was hurried on 3rd and 4th down. On 3rd down he clearly had bess wide open at the 39 which would have been 4th and 2 or he gets the first down with YAC.

We were the more talented team today, but we let them hang around and they took advantage. Cleveland played a terrible game but our inability to score inside the 20 and poor secondary play gave them the game. Not to single sean smith out but there is no reason josh cribbs should ever catch that ball for the browns first TD.
 
Henne will never win a SB. Bottom line. He is a serviceable QB and can win games if the team is good, but he will never carry a team. He cannot play in the redzone and cannot put a team on his back and will them to win. We have seen this repeatedly. Yet again today, he had good stats, but didnt put up TDs. We stall in the red zone every ****ing time. Im tired of it. We can fix this when we pick top three this year at least.
 
The thing I wonder is what happened to the 'disciplined' team that sparano had in his first year. First in the league in least amount of penalties. Now im sure were close to the top in most pentalities
 
And BTW, as you should have noticed if you were realistic, making a positive thread doesnt make it realistic. Crappy title IMO.
 
Joe Haden made a nice play on that ball to Marshall. That would have been a tough catch. Much tougher than the one against Houston which still would have been tough. Marshall has been disappointing at times, but that play was not one of them. Haden was all over him and made that a very hard pass to catch.
