Yet you still cant defend why Jay was a backup for so many years. Stop beating around the bush.Lawrence said:The fans screaming? HAHA, please the coach himself knew AJ is a 3rd string clipboard holder, thats why when the chance came to rip us off they took it. And I think I'll stop debating with you since you still haven't seen the game yet, and are just making stuff up as you go along.
Lawrence said:Failed? 10 wins a year is not a failure. 6 picks in 2 and a half games is. But don't worry...AJ will surprise!:roflmao: :roflmao:
Jay is that you.:tongue:Lawrence said:Because you're a child.
Jay would get his butt handed to him if he did that. :goof:Fins 34 said:Guys, let's consider the following for a minute please;
Last night we played a game in torrential rains when throwing the ball was, at times, and impossibility. Why then, would you leave an immobile QB like Feely in the game? Fiedler would have been able to run up the middle an pick up yards.
Bottom line, Fiedler would have given us the best chance to win. I guarantee you that we wold not be 0-3 if he would have started this year. Feely is pathetic and he has to go. I don't care if they get an old-timer to come and play, they would surely move the offense down the files for at least 13 points a game. And hey, take away the Felly pick for TD's and 13 points from this "old-timer" QB + The Dolphins D = a 3-0 record.

Jay Fiedler wasn't only a back up.DA DICK said:Yet you still cant defend why Jay was a backup for so many years. Stop beating around the bush.
Agreed.Trekbiz said:Jay Fiedler wasn't only a back up.
Jay was given up on by every single team in the league.
No one signed him even for training camp fodder.
He left the game completely.
Jay needed a friend of his that was a coach to write letters recommending him to all the teams in the league. That is the only reason he even got back into the NFL.
I believe if I ever saw that coach it would take everything I have not to kick him right in the arse. Who could we have brought in 4 years ago instead of Jay. :shakeno:
Nonetheless, whoever it could have been would only have only been wasted
by the biggest mistake this franchise ever made....... handing the team over completely to Dave Wannstedt.
Good observation, I've also noticed that AJ doesn't seem command ANY respect from other teamates. He's not talking much with the coaches or players, or checking the printouts of the previous plays. At least Jay does control things somewhat better, and he actually does have a good history to prove it. As bad as this offense had been overall, nobody can say that Jay couldn't have brought this team back in each of the first three games. He has in the past, yeah, even before Ricky. We all hoped for a BETTER QB to lead us forward, but all we have is a poorer one failing us, and with under 20 starts since High School, why should we all be surprised?screamer said:Jay vs AJ. Neither one is great. Average at best. What bugs me the most is that when they show AJ on the sidlines or the bench, not one player on the team seems to converse with him or offer any kind of encouragement. He shows NO signs of passion or leadership. Makes me wonder if the players know more about the QB situation than us fans.
