Because you're a child.

The fans screaming? HAHA, please the coach himself knew AJ is a 3rd string clipboard holder, thats why when the chance came to rip us off they took it. And I think I'll stop debating with you since you still haven't seen the game yet, and are just making stuff up as you go along.
Yet you still cant defend why Jay was a backup for so many years. Stop beating around the bush.

Failed? 10 wins a year is not a failure. 6 picks in 2 and a half games is. But don't worry...AJ will surprise!:roflmao: :roflmao:

Oh I forgot we must have been to teh playoffs? O hand Jay was solely responsible for the 10 wins again right? Course when crunch time against teh team we needed to beat to win the division Jay failed to show up, but hey lets make some excuses for those games ok? Cant wait to hear or actually your lack of a response. Where was Jay against the pats? What about in 02 in the crunch? where was Jay? When did jay have 8 brand new starters on offense besides himself? When did the o-line play as bad as it has so far? 03 was really bad yep, but wasnt worse, at least this line may gel and improve. 03 line at least new each other. 3 previous years the oline was avg, not bad but sufficient. Atleast Jay in the 3 previous years had a knowledge of the players he was playing with. That isnt present this year.

Like I said AJ may suprise, but you never will.

wow what a suprise When you dont have an answer sidestep, nice tactic.

pipe-down children...it's clearly the O-Line. neither QB would do well here, especially with the D just teeing off on the QB due to the lack of a run threat.

Fiedler might fair slightly better due to his mobility and ability to throw FEWER TD's to the opposing defense...but who are we kidding here? We have a top 3 Def and a bottom 3 Offense. No one-player could change that...not even Ricky.

Guys, let's consider the following for a minute please;

Last night we played a game in torrential rains when throwing the ball was, at times, and impossibility. Why then, would you leave an immobile QB like Feely in the game? Fiedler would have been able to run up the middle an pick up yards.

Bottom line, Fiedler would have given us the best chance to win. I guarantee you that we wold not be 0-3 if he would have started this year. Feely is pathetic and he has to go. I don't care if they get an old-timer to come and play, they would surely move the offense down the files for at least 13 points a game. And hey, take away the Felly pick for TD's and 13 points from this "old-timer" QB + The Dolphins D = a 3-0 record.

This reminds me of the "Deer in Headlights" thread from last week. It's certainly a combination of Feely's inexperience and the OL. I still believe that with that OL, that even Marino wouldn't shine.

Jay would get his butt handed to him if he did that. :goof:

Let's face it, right now we have 2 backup QB's. I wanted Fielder to start, but he did nothing against Tenn. Even if we put himin now, we'll be lucky to win 6 games. He's likely going to be gone next year so what's the point? Let AJ keep throwing pick 6's. Maybe he'll get better, maybe not. If he doesn't, we get rid of both. If he does, we have our QB. No one is going to win much with the line playing like it is. How many RB's do we have that aren't hurt? There's just no support there.

since this season is all but lost, i say bring in jay, and let him stink it up, and make this jay-lovin-nut-huggers to STFU!!!

Jay Fiedler wasn't only a back up.
Jay was given up on by every single team in the league.
No one signed him even for training camp fodder.
He left the game completely.
Jay needed a friend of his that was a coach to write letters reccomending him to all the teams in the league. That is the only reason he even got back into the NFL, a coach calling in a favor.
I believe if I ever saw that coach it would take everything I have not to kick him right in the arse. Who could we have brought in 4 years ago instead of Jay. :shakeno:
Nonetheless, whoever it could have been, they would only have been wasted
by the biggest mistake this franchise ever made....... handing the team over completely to Dave Wannstedt.

Agreed.

Jay vs AJ. Neither one is great. Average at best. What bugs me the most is that when they show AJ on the sidlines or the bench, not one player on the team seems to converse with him or offer any kind of encouragement. He shows NO signs of passion or leadership. Makes me wonder if the players know more about the QB situation than us fans.
Good observation, I've also noticed that AJ doesn't seem command ANY respect from other teamates. He's not talking much with the coaches or players, or checking the printouts of the previous plays. At least Jay does control things somewhat better, and he actually does have a good history to prove it. As bad as this offense had been overall, nobody can say that Jay couldn't have brought this team back in each of the first three games. He has in the past, yeah, even before Ricky. We all hoped for a BETTER QB to lead us forward, but all we have is a poorer one failing us, and with under 20 starts since High School, why should we all be surprised?

VOTE 2004!
Bush / Cheney for President & Jay Fiedler for Dolphins QB
(no hanging chads this time around fellas ok.)
