A winning QB on the bench

That's funny, because it was Rick who made the deal for AJ not Wanny. And even after the deal Wanny named Jay the starter. Once again you got all your facts wrong.
And Wanny benched him. I know Wanny is a bad coach but I will take his Judgement over yours on any day that ends in Y. And BTW if you read the post I was talking about Wanny wanting Jay to go look at other teams. I never said anything about the AJ trade. Why wont you read the post in its entirety before you make a reply.

You're missing the point once again. Feeley had a bunch of QB school's, all of training camp, 4 preseason games and he STILL couldn't look good enough to beat out Jay? Besides Chambers, Madison and other un-named veteran players would rather go with Jay, and I think theyre more in the know than you.

Your still living in the past. If Jay was so good then why the Wanny bench him after half? Answer that one. Thats the problem with Jay supporters, when hes out you want him in when hes in you want him out. I bet you were all for Jay Fiedler after the season was over last year were you.

Lawrence why can't you understand Jay is done with this team.
The Fins have a new QB AJ its simple do you think that Jay will do better? what do you base that on.
This is the end of the fins as we know them, the team is being rebuilt and it needs to know if Feeley is the guy.
This team has not done anything in a very long time and Jay was part of the group that couldn't get done.
It's time for a change.

I was all for them to UPGRADE at the QB spot. That means getting someone who is clearly better than the guy you already have. An unproven 3rd string player who's only played 13 games since high school is not a clear upgrade. You say I'm living in the past? Well if AJis the future, then Id rather live in the past. By the way have you even seen last night's game yet, or are you still talking out of your A-hole when referring to AJ's performance?

Whether you like to admit it or not, the team won 41 games under him. I know most of the offense ran thru Ricky, and that the Defense was a major reason for those wins, but he made enough plays, and took care of the ball enough to win 10 games a year. And by the way, it's obvious to anyone with a brain that Fiedler is much more mobile than the stiff Feeley, and with this o-line as bad as it is, Fiedler would be able to make more happen. Even Chris Chambers knows this.

So your saying to bench AJ and bring in Jay. All Jay is gonna do is play a perfect game against the Jets and then hes gonna go back to his sub-par playing and thats when you will be wanting Jay out again. We are better off leaving it that way it is buddy.

Who said I wanted Jay out? I said after last season I was hoping that they would upgrade. They didn't. Jay is the best QB on the team at this moment. And if he plays a perfect game against the Jets, you already have your lame excuse ready huh? :roflmao:

A QB that has been sitting on the sidelines, playing against an improved team, playing a perfect game? I think not! Although it would be a hard decision for anyone to pick who to start. Both are pretty bad, but i would go with Fiedler due to the experience he has against the Jets.

I know another 3rd stringer with little experience that turned out okay. His name was Brett Farve. Ex-Atlanta Falcon. BTW, Ron Wolf compares Feeley to Farve. Also remember that Steve Young was terrible with the Bucs. I think he did okay in SF.

I said you wanted Jay out. Why do you keep on riding his tail. We need to keep Feeley in. Doesnt the fact that he is playing with 9 new offensive starters and not to mention a new OC ring a bell to you. You just expect him to come in here and make out like a rabbit. Jay might be more mobile but he doesnt keep the ball in his hands. He fumbles the ball easily. Did you see all those snaps that he fumbled in the preseason. NO you miss those facts do you. Top that with all his int and his qb rating and I still cant see why you would still want him back in.

Thats nice, but did Favre play 8 games in college?

You keep missing the point. Tom Brady was a 4th stringer in college. Not to mention he was a back up to Brian Griese. Tom turned out pretty well. Where is Griese.
