uk, I think it is time for you to give Vance Joseph a break lol

Huge loss for this defense.

I hope Michael Thomas is ready to be a leader on defense instead of just Special Teams.

On the bright side, they are bringing up AJ Hendy. Big moment for that youngster and he looks like a promising kid.
 
Next man up as its been all year. I guess Walt is gonna see some extra PT too?
 
Most of our backup safeties are special teams players...really good ones...but not so good at playing safety. Might have to rethink this strategy for next year.

Ahhh, wasn't sure, thought you have been blasting him. My bad.

I mean even Muhammad Ali would struggle at boxing if you tied both hands behind his back. Vance is going to have to focus on creative ways to bring pressure because even that front 4 by themselves aren't always able to do that.
 
This offseason needs to have a heavy focus on defense, especially linebackers and safeties. It will be nice to get a few players back next year though, at least for depth.

On offense, the only thing we need to do is invest in guards and possibly add a dynamic TE (as well as resign Landry/Stills)

What this team has done despite all the injuries has been amazing. Injuries to both safeties, both corners, 2 of 3 lbers and Mario Williams MIA.

Let's be honest Thomas hasn't done anything spectacular at all. His claim to fame is intercepting Brady in the endzone. I would like to see us give Aikens a try.

Thomas has been in and out at S all season and has been okish. Dont think Aikens has played a single snap

Aikens isint the answer either unfortunately, and I believe the coaches know that which is why Thomas will start but he has weaknesses also. Were snake-bitten at this point. Maybe Jenkins and Maxwell can get healthy enought for the playoffs but we really dont have an answer at safety.
