So 5 Phins players were interviewed and all 5 said that O-Line is our biggest need. 2 of them also want Cooper as our #12 pick.

I spoke to five Dolphins players this week to gage the team's top need and ALL FIVE admitted Miami needs to improve the offensive line. Two players said offensive guard is the top need, and one of them flat out admitted he wants North Carolina's Jonathan Cooper to be Miami's first-round pick.

All 5 admitted it was a need..not the biggest need. Plus it's impossible to gauge unless you knew who said it. Obviously Richard Marshall wouldn't say CB is a huge need. Likewise Vernon probably thinks DE is fine

Those are good points.

players just worry about you know, playing and getting better! dont worry about who is going to get drafted, leave that up to the front office!

what??? we have richie incognito pro bowler manning left guard...that can't be...:chuckle:

too bad for the players that want coop...barring a trade up he's not getting to us...

There are reasons a player would say we do NOT need a particular position, but who benefits from saying that we DO need linemen? All that probably means is they weren't linemen themselves (minus Pouncey and Martin). I don't think that is so impossible to gauge. In fact, it is pretty interesting which positions they are willing to call out DESPITE knowing the players personally.

They were interviewed and asked a question. Nothing wrong with giving your opinion at that point. Its not as if they went to media and started handing out demands.

So, all 4 O-liners we covet will be gone? Crap, that's cause Star, JJ, Moore, Werner, and Barkley all have gone cold...

I've read a post of yours saying the top 3 OT will go in the first 5 picks and now you think Cooper will also go before 12? Are you going to release a mock draft before next Thursday, I'd like to see how the other 7 picks before us go. :)

You never know. It would make an interesting pick if Cooper, Austin, and Eifert were available at 12.

What I take from this is... they are all excited about our young QB and want to make sure he stays upright and healthy!

Do you think Warmack is going top 11? That's 3 OT and 2 OG going in the top 11.

You think the Bills will take him?

Man, that would suck....
