According to Saban...AJ has outplayed gus in three out of four games....

What games gave you been watching?

People need to get off the dinks and dunks. That **** moves the chains! Big plays will come, atleast Feeley can connect on them. Gus overthrew and underthrew a bunch of balls tonight.

Don't get me wrong Gus knows this offense, but he doesnt have the throwing skills AJ has....

Give AJ time, Gus had his.

That's exactly right: Dink, Dunk, Then 36yds later TD. I think Linehan has adjusted his play calling to more of a west coast style when Feeley is in and it has been really effective. Some people on this board expect our QB's to throw bombs on every other play to get first downs and if it isn't done this way it doesn't count. If you move the ball down the field who gives two shakes of a goats c#$k how you got there. It's totally idiotic to crucify someone who's moving this offense in the right directioin. Some people really need to look at the game more objectively.

gun duel at he 50 yard line?? back to back, 10 yards! May the quickest drawing hands win!!!!

Feeley is not making the bad decisions he made last year and he has a lot more time with this o-line. If not for 3 or 4 drops last night, he might have scored another TD. That TD pass was a thing of beauty and thrown to the perfect spot on the outside shoulder--and it wasn't dropped. Bottom line is that he is just playing better than Frerotte and deserves to get the start vs Atlanta.

I think you can make the same argument with Frerotte. I want AJ to start, and I feel he should. I just didn't think Frerotte had a bunch of drops too. Too bad the long passes didn't have chance to be dropped!

AJ Feeley would not do better in the long run than Frerrote. Its just plain and simple. Frerrote is simply going to need more time with the same recievers. It takes time. Frerrote will not be long in hooking up with these guys week in and week out. AJ simply shows too much in his body language as a QB, he will make the costly INT for sure. Frerrote will not.

how bout that lucky "slip through the fingers of the DB into Ronnie Lee's hands? that had INt written all over it. YOu put AJ against the fisrt stringers, I guarrantee you he would F it all up eventually with a TD going the other way.

Gus had some bad throws last night, he overthrew a lot, had some passes dropped that were good. As much as I would like to see Feeley get the start against Atlanta, I dont think you are going to see it happen for the fact that they are going to give Gus all the time they can with the 1st team before the regular season games start.

As much as Gus did wrong I havent seen anything from Feeley before that tells me he would make those throws. Its a tough situation hopefully it works out good for us. If Gus does good than Sabans a genius if not he's the goat.

That is true to a degree but once again, Gus has gotten progressively worse each week while AJ has gotten progressively better. Timing should be improving each week, not regressing.
