I really dont understand all this love for McPherson. The guy was average. Right now he is way below average. IMO with some work he has the potential to be a little better than avg, but not by much. Is all this about his Arena League numbers? EVERYBODY puts up huge stats in the arena league.

Dub I am not downing your post either so please don't take it as that. Just chiming in. I do think this kid has some potential though.

No big deal. I dont think he's garbage either. I'm just tired of peoplem thinking on here that other's peoples scraps are going to come in and save the franchise. Champions are built through the draft, IMO.

Never even glanced at his Arena numbers It was his personal workout number that have me mildly interested.

This only came out because McPh was on Saban's radar, had the Saints not picked him...IF he hits the waiver wire, given our lack of production at QB and lack of a "developmental" QB that Saban covets...he would be looked at..of course, so would just about every QB that hits the wire...
