Adrian Peterson says crazier things said NFL lockerrooms.

Well we've already mutilated the constitution so why not take away freedom of speech. Lets put in microphones in all the NFL locker rooms and fine people who use words some alliance deems inappropriate....that would be awesome /sarcasm.

Myswell bring back prohibition too, that would end 95% of society's problems.

The difference is that Incognito has a VERY long history and Cooper doesn't. If I get busted carrying some LSD, I'll get a slap on the wrist because I have no history and will take steps to change, whereas Johnny Drugdealer who has been busted 20 times and has a record dating back to high school will probably have a different experience.

I don't like Martin or the way he handled this, but that doesn't magically make Incognito some kind of saint in my eyes.

I don't think anyone's made the assertation he's a saint. Not at all actually.
Just simply that he's no more of a demon than anyone else for this particular incident.

How do you know? Based on the very limited information we've been provided?

Sadly 55 it wouldn't surprise me if this option wasn't already on the table.

Yes, that is my opinion based on the information that has been provided thusfar.

Same way you formed your opinion about Martin and how he's handled the situation.

Lest the old saying 'Opinions are like...'

Opinion are best voiced when supported by facts versus a response based upon one's self-image.

That opinion is based on one key known fact: That he walked out on the team. I didn't realize that was still in question.

That particular fact is not in question. The causation is, which I assume could at least influence your opinion
one way or the other. Regardless, my point still stands. I haven't heard anyone here holding up RI as a "saint".
I think that's you just setting up strawmen and knocking them down.

The fact is that words have power, power to do good and power to intimidate and cause anguish.

One would expect the use of harmful words in a prison for example but these players are all college educated and should act like it irregardless of the fact that they might believe themselves to be special, better than others or above normal accepted societal conventions.

The NFL is a business and they are employees of that business. They should act like professionals.
