AFC East now and in the future.

It must suck to have a QB who looked so good, so confident, so poised, yet only throw for 190 yds, 0 TD's...oh, but he ran good! Awesome job by the quarterback, running the ball! lol

Oh, so brady showed up, and tannehill still badly outplayed him.

he could throw for 90 as long as he's limiting mistakes and making big plays now and then I'll take it. This position is not about fantasy #s.

Ryan didn't badly outplay Brady, Brady was inches away from pulling off another great comeback but your D held. The same D that kept you in most of your games and should have been a playoff D if you had better QB play.

Bye Bye credibility
Geno is terrible will always be terrible. The Jets would whip our ass with a middle of the pack qb IMO

I think the Dolphins are the most likely and im not a homer. Like everyone mentioned its all on RT, he takes the step we think/hope and we win 10 games. he stays the same we win 7or 8.

That said, RT and 100x better chance of being a franchise than Geno smith lol..Also much more likely than EJ Manuel-- we have that going for us

we whipped your ass in your biggest game w/ a bad QB(who was playing like a decent QB at the time).

i'm sorry, but if geno smith badly outplayed tannehill, then tannehill badly outplayed Brady. Tannehill was poised, confident, and made plays when it mattered. Fact is fact, right?

but Brady played pretty well, Ryan was awful against us.

Ryan had his best game of the year against NE, he played tremendously. That's the guy you hope he becomes and if he does he will be a big time QB, but 1-2 showings like that doesn't make him great or even good especially the way he ended the year in the biggest games of his career.

Brady led NE to 20 pts, 10 in the 4th qtr. he gave his D a lead w/ 4 mins left then after Miami scored again he had NE in position to score a again but Miami's D made a play.

How is that anything like what Ryan did against us where Ryan led you to 7 pts, threw 3 INTs and gave you no chance to compete w/ a team that was mediocre?

He was playing like a good running back at the time. Not disputing the epic meltdown we had. But, Geno Smith sucks and will never be a good qb.
RT is already an average NFL QB and has the ability to be a franchise qb.

I agree with your point about coaching BTW I would take Rex's dumb obnoxious ass over failbin any day of the week

Seems to me it was the jets defense that prevented tannehill from winning in week 17, huh? has nothing to do with how good or bad geno smith played. Same for the pats/fins game. tannehill played awesome. outplayed brady, that's for sure. it's not tannehills fault the dolphins defense couldn't keep brady from scoring. Doesn't knock tannehill one bit though. he badly outplayed brady.

I agree, I think the jets are are building up, but geno sucks. Jets get a good QB and I'm scared. He'll if you would of had a good QB 5 years ago you would have won a Super Bowl.

Well now they also need a No 1 WR, a No 1 RB, a TE, and an OL. If they get all that, then I'd be scared. They are solid on D, but they are not the 2000 Ravens.

He sucked most of last year and maybe that is his future? we'll see. I feel much better about him w/ the way he ended 2013, w/ this being year 2 in the system and w/ the massive upgrade in weapons around him(from almost nothing to mid of the pack). I will know a lot more about Geno this year. He wasn't ready to play early last year and was forced into playing, he could have crumbled and never recovered but he battled and finished strong. That gives me some optimism about him.

Ryan left a ton of plays on the field, geno faced the better D. Miami had the best D in the division last year.

again, the difference btw the Mia-NE game and Mia-Jet game is that the losing QB competed in the Mia-NE game.

ok, so brady competed...tannehill still badly outplayed brady. just stating a fact.

when is the last time a legit #1 WR was on a SB winning team? a real big time guy? Decker is certainly on par w/ the top WRs of most of the top teams.

we have an excellent group of RBs.

Cumberland is developing nicely as a TE and we just drafted a pass catching one.

OL isn't 2009 good but it's still good enough.

Not the 2009 Ravens but developing to be better than the 2009/2010 Jets.

how is that a fact? I don't get it?

at least my statement is based in reality. Ryan was awful that day and the main reason a mediocre team walked into Miami and beat up the phins who had everything to play for.

Yes, Ryan was awful that day. What does Geno smith have to do with Ryan playing awful? Not a damn thing. Which was my point. You bring in geno smith badly outplaying Tannehill like it actually means something, when it doesn't mean anything.

So, to sum everything up, someone pointed out how Tannehill is better than Geno and Manuel, you then bring up Geno "badly outplayed" tannehill, thinking that actually means something, which it doesn't. So your statement was not reality, except for maybe in your own jet filled head.

what is has to do with Ryan is that geno w/ worse talent around him facing a tougher D on the road in a must win for that team played much better than Ryan who had more weapons, could make the playoffs and faced a lesser D.

it may not mean anything but it is a troubling sign.

AGAIN, I have said all along going into 2014 Ryan is #2 after Brady but I disagree w/ the homers on here that Ryan is some sure thing and the other guys are locks to suck. It may work out that way but none of them are sure things whether good or bad.
